   Flawless! This is, without a doubt, the best nail salon I've ever visited. They consistently deliver impeccable manicures and the most stunning, delicate nail art.    I booked here because I was in Chelsea to pick up my wedding dress. Had a pedicure which was ok, but they didn't do the topcoat for ages sonit wasnt dried properly and is now very patchy. I then had biab manicure - they insisted on only doing infill even though some of my nails were already lifting. The biab was applied very thinly, the colour on top was patchy and the tips were shrinking back/npt finished well. These nails only lasted one week, so I am very disappointed for the price.

   My first impression was that Nail Base was well organised, friendly and clean. I went with myself and my partner for a pedicure. It started off as a pleasant experience, but half way through it became very uncomfortable with all the nail technicians speaking in their mother tongue and laughing hysterically. It felt very obvious that this was an in-joke aimed at one of us. The pedicure felt rushed. They didn’t buff the top of my nails, and when we got home and inspected, there was lots of rough skin left on the heels of my partner’s feet (he has nice, maintained feet!) so this wasn’t a big task. When leaving I didn’t want to make a big deal about it in case my partner hadn’t noticed, so I paid and paid a tip just to get out of there, however after discussing with him afterwards and learning that he felt very uncomfortable believing there was a joke that he felt was at his expense, I really regret leaving a tip, so instead wanted to leave a tip here - a suggestion to be kind to your customers.

   I have been going to Maria for my nails for almost 6 months now and I cannot give enough compliments. She takes all my wild art ideas and goes for it! My nails are also the strongest they've been in years, even though I regularly get the SNS powder! I have never had any issues and ALWAYS get compliments on my nails. Got my first pedicure in years during my last visit and my feet have never been softer and nicer (if youre reading this and into $ for feet pics, hmu). 100/10, would recommend to everyone. Amazing, friendly staff. if you're still covid-wise, the staff all still wear masks and have sneeze guards up and from what I've seen most patrons wear a mask in as well.
