   When I came here for the first time, I was very satisfied with the service. I came back for the second time, and the lady talked to me so much that I didn’t check the details carefully, because visually it looked just like last time. Three days after getting my toenails done, I noticed I already had regrowth, as if it had been a week. I’m embarrassed and disappointed that the lady treated me this way, just to make me come back sooner for another appointment. I do not recommend this place.

   The staff at Apple are friendly and professional. The finish of their manicures is excellent and always lasts well. Even after moving house I still come back time after time as they are the best manicures and pedicures.

   Man with dirty, bitten nails (no gloves) doing my manicure. Really poor quality shellac gel used, lamp wasn’t working properly and the man kept forcing my hand to the very back of the lamp, causing the tips of my nails to be smudged. Plus the lamp clearly had not been cleaned in months (if ever) and had dirt inside which was just revolting. Cannot tell you how bad my manicure was, only been in a day and already lifting, air bubbles under the shellac and smudged at the tips. I can’t wait to get it taken off by someone who actually knows what they’re doing… If that wasn’t enough, this business is clearly a cover for money laundering (or at least tax evasion). I will be reporting to the authorities. DO NOT go to this place, totally disgusting, bad quality manicure, staff have bitten down nails with dirt under and do not wear gloves.

   I had my acrylic's done here yesterday to get ready for a performance I was doing. I rang up in advance and had to wait once I arrived for my appointment. Firstly, they do not take contactless as advertised. I had to bank transfer after my treatment. Secondly, I looked at the price list online and saw that it was £30 for a full set of acrylics or £35 for gel powder extensions. I assumed that this was with colour as there was nothing to suggest otherwise. I had the acrylics done with gel polish and they tried to charge me £45 for the full set. I obviously refused as this was not what was advertised. Further to this, the technician asked me what shape and I said rounded, almond not square. He started shaping mine as squares and when I questioned him, he proceeded to try and correct his mistake. He then made me feel uncomfortable as he started talking to his colleague in Chinese obviously voicing his anger that I had challenged him on his mistake. He made an obvious mistake with my thumbs which are shaped as squares and the rest of my nails are a cross between round and oval. There was no attention to detail on the polish and my nails are lumpy so I will have to pay to get these redone elsewhere. Never in all my years of getting my nails done have I had a treatment this bad.

   Had a great manicure experience at Apple Nails this morning. The technician was really thorough and efficient. Nails perfectly shaped and even length. Hand massage was lovely and polish application even and fluid. My nails look great! For £13 you can't go far wrong.
