I have about two nails shop in my arra but still prefer to travel down for good customer services. The way Jasmine takes her time to cut the cirticles and the finishing touch of painting clean 10 stars
I having been going here for a couple of years now and they’re excellent. My polish has never chipped. I think they are good at what they do. I would recommend them.
I’ve been a loyal customer of this salon for years and have always appreciated the quality of their work and friendly service. However, I was disappointed with my most recent visit. I was charged an extra £1 simply for paying via bank transfer, a method I’ve used many times before without issue. While I understand businesses may revise policies, there was no clear communication about this charge beforehand. It’s not the amount that bothers me, but the principle especially as a regular client. This experience unfortunately left me questioning whether my loyalty is valued. I hope this feedback is taken in the spirit intended, as I’ve genuinely enjoyed coming here over the years. A bit more transparency and consistency would go a long way in maintaining trust
I've been using Luv Nails for a little over 2 years now, and I don't have a bad word to say about Tina and the team. Every month I challenge them with yet another quirky nail art design and they deliver everytime. The atmosphere is cosy and relaxing, and I love watching the world go by through the window or the picturesque videos of beautiful travel destinations and scenery on the main screen. I've pretty much tried all services on offer - acrylic, powder, gel on natural nail, and BIAB, as well as having full pedecures during the summer months. I've never had issues with any of the services and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Luv nails is now my local for as long as I live in London!
DO NOT GO HERE FOR BIAB!!!!!!! This nail salon is dangerous and should come with a health warning. My cousin and I went here to get BIAB to strengthen and grow our nails. Instead of them to say they had no clue how to do it; they claimed they did. I guess the first clue was it was not listed on their services. First time we did it. I saw no sign of a gel like substance, the base coat was thin and just like any regular one and then the paint itself was similarly thin. I asked for gel polish on top of as it was so light. We didn’t know any better but we kept on asking if this was BIAB and they said yes. A week later the gel nail polish kept popping off/ chipping (see photos of cousin’s white polish nails) like it was just a gel polish with no BIAB treatment underneath. Even as a ordinary gel polish; this should not have happened so fast. We went back 2 weeks later which should be for a refill if it was really BIAB but they drilled the nails again and removed and “reapplied” the supposed “BIAB” Again, remember the application previously done was really thin and so effectively the drill was on our nail beds instead of top layer of paint. (BIAB apparently gets taken off only after months but refilled every 2-3 weeks but obviously they were clueless and we didn’t know any better till we went to a proper nail shop where they had the expertise) . The second reapplication they did was even more disastrous than the first one. A couple of the polish popped off my nails whole after a few days. I went back for them to fix it which they did and a few days later it popped off again. This time; I went with my cousin who had not been able to come back to get hers fixed due to work hours However, when we got there, they said my cousin waited too late to come back and in my case it must have been something I was doing like washing up and they charged us 6 pounds each; again drilling on our nail bed. This was after a a 5 min diatribe in their language discussing us. Next day, the 2 nails they fixed for me popped off again (see photos of purple nail polish) and I took the popped off colour to the salon to let them know they didn’t know what they were doing and the lady there said “maybe your nails are too weak to take the treatment”. So the day before the story was it was my house work of washing up and cleaning and the next day it must be my nails were too weak. Nothing to do with them!!! Do yourself a favor if you need BIAB done , go somewhere else. We went to a different nail salon and from the BIAB treatment we got; we knew luv nails had zero clue. The essential part of the BIAB treatment was missing when Luv nails did our nails; this was the gel that needs to be at the base that strengthens the nail. The nail polish sits on top of this gel and so every 2-3weeks, the nail polish is drilled off, not your nail bed as the gel is the protective barrier and it keeps getting refilled. Our nails were weakened and nail bed damaged by luv nails. Awful salon and poor customer service. Thank you to Lascious nails for restoring my nails. Have had the BIAB treatment for almost a week; no chips; no peels, no popping off. (See photo of short blue nails) As an aside to management of Luv nails; speaking another language to talk about your customers is rude and disrespectful even more so when the customer does not look like you but happens to have learnt your language in another lifetime and understands everything you said! World has become too global for that mess. So stop it!
Absolutely the worst nail experience I’ve ever experienced. From the get go it was no smiles or warm welcome. Mind you I’ve been to a few nail salons in London and went to a nail salon consistently in Seoul for more than three years so I know what good service looks like. I had to constantly prompt the technician about the length, shape and even she wouldn’t ask me what I ever wanted once during the whole ordeal. Now I showed a picture at the beginning of the appointment and she said sure it was possible. When it was time to apply the gel colour and nail design I knew she was rushing because the attention to detail was non existent. The application of the specific effect was patchy and uneven. After mentioning to her I was not satisfied and if she could make the coverage more even she would roll her eyes and try to explain to me that it is how her salon does it. I’ve done this particular nail art before and wow was I surprised at the sheer audacity of her reasoning. When I proceeded to tell her calmly my dissatisfaction she tries to rope in her colleague and other customers to defend her. Absolutely outrageous behaviour. It was easy to see she had no sense of customer service or decency. She refused to put a second layer of the gel polish which would have ensured an even coverage. I left to go to my regular nail salon in muswell hill for an emergency appointment and they made my miserable afternoon into a lovely one with lovely service and made my nails look amazing. The reason I chose to go to Luv nails and not my regular one in Muswell hill is because of location as it’s closer to my house but now I know to stay very clear from a business such as this one.
Friendly and polite staff who care about service they provide. Second time getting my nails done and so far no complaints whatsoever. Nails last as well! Highly recommend!!
Found this place by chance as it was a Saturday and every nail salon in the area was fully booked. I had a regular manicure/pedicure and and really happy with both, can’t stop admiring my nails - clean work, finished nicely. All the staff were really friendly and the place had spa like vibes. Even my 6yr old daughter kept commenting on how relaxing it was in there. Cash only. Would definitely recommend and would go back.
What a fabulous services I arrived early and was fitted in straight away. The salon is very pretty and clean. The staff are really friendly and make you feel comfortable. First nail salon I have been to that I have felt so relaxed. I would 100% recommend this salon to family and friends thank you so much ladies.❤ xx
