   I've to thank the Council Tax Advisors Team! I've paid the enforcement fees within 4 working days of the letter issued of £75, however Equita's bailiff kept insisting I owe them an additional £235 because aparently he attended my premises. Because of the advise from the Council Tax Advisors Team I was aware of my rights, unafraid and was assertive (but still friendly) towards him. I questioned when did he attend my premises, as no letter of intent was issued, furthermore I have paid the enforcement fee within 4 working days of the letter issued, so there was no reason for him to attend my premises. He said he will check with their Equita office to see when was the visit made. Which was quite dubious, really. He then called me back within 2 minutes and stated that he has advised the office that my balance now is £0. Which made me even more suspicious of him. What that bailiff did is borderline criminal. He must have been displeased that I made the payment online (via Equita website- as stated on the official Equita letter) and not through him and therefore he felt undercut. I can't thank you enough Council Tax Advisors for your help!!! I feel if I hadn't had the help from your team I would have been distressed for weeks with the situation. Plus, these bailiffs at Equita prey on the weak so show no fear (:

   I honestly don't know what i would have done without help from the Council tax Advisors. The council had passed my debt to a debt collection company that just wouldn't except the reasonable repayment offers i made. After talking to Chris and the team i felt like a weight had been lifted, they assessed my situation and took full control of everything. I was always kept informed and up to date and thanks to all there hard work my offer was excepted. I wish I'd found them sooner and saved myself lots of stress and anxiety. I am so grateful that an amazing free service like this exists and would highly recommend anyone in my situation get in contact with them as soon as you can.

   Fantastic support throughout the whole process from these guys! Each person I spoke to tried their best and sorted out my issue with the bailiffs who tried to scare the life out of me with their constant pestering during such a difficult time in my life. They came up with a perfect solution and managed to sort out the issue and couldn't have been more helpful.. The whole process was easy, professional and a weight lifted off my shoulders and despite what anyone says!! I would recommend them 110% if I could.. Fantastic company, that by the way IS FREE! and full of help and support.    When the Bailiffs turned up with a letter and being quite demanding it can be a very worrying and frightening experience. I was told there was nothing I could do and to just pay up within a few days. I had a look on the web site just to check what their rights were and I thankfully came across Council Tax Advisors CIC. I called them immediately and was put at ease as I was informed what to do next. The process was quick and easy with Council Tax Advisors CIC and within a few days I had a payment plan in place that suited everyone. I could not thank them enough for all the help they had given me and helped me through a very difficult time.
