Beth as usual does an amazing job on my nails. Top notch manicure with classic polish. Super neat, quick and always gets the shape right!
Would give 0 if I could!! I’m deeply dissatisfied with the manicure I received. I chose a gel polish in a signature lipstick colour, but the application was so uneven, with inconsistent thickness and visible waves. One nail even had a bubble, and the polish was not properly secured around or under the nails. Despite paying over £50, the gel began peeling by Monday morning, which is unacceptable for gel polish. The uneven layers became evident when the polish started to peel off. Given the high standards and reputation of Townhouse/Grace London, I believe it’s reasonable to expect a complimentary redo of my manicure to rectify these issues.
£38 and 67 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. They were late to take me in, filing was so bad I had to take the file and go over it myself, and the paint job would have needed less cleaning up if I had done my own nails in the dark. I couldn’t even Karen since the manager herself was doing my nails. Side-note, when I was there same person sat a lady down for 15 minutes only to find out she hadn’t checked the booking correctly and the client was at the wrong branch. She then told the client she would message the other branch to inform them of the mistake so she wouldn’t miss her appointment but never did cos she was too busy botching up my nails.
If I could put 0 I would! I was a good customer of London Grace before they got bought out by townhouse. I can tell you that the service isn't the same and I am utterly shocked by the chance. On top of not being offered a drinks (as they used to to any coming customers), I had booked a french with nail polish (which I always did prior), they told me that they wouldn't be able to do it with nail polish and would only do it with gel which I refused to have as it gets my nail very fragile. Then the lady forgot about me and left me under the dryers for way too long until I lost patience. And finally previous London Grace staffs would always finish by putting oil after treatment which wasn't the case. They were also going to charge me the add on (french) that I hadn't received. And in the end the simple colour chosen hasn't even been properly applied as there are holes and would have deserved another layer.. Would not go back! Very bad quality price
Shockingly bad manicure. The cuticula was hardly done and mentioned had like little bubbles and dots when applied the first coat but they ignored, saying wont be visible by the end and it obviously is. I was also shocked and not sure if pictures does justice, but the gel was applied incredibly uneven, missing on some parts and on waves in pretty much all nails although my nails are straight. I never saw anyone applying the gel so badly. Never again! Not sure how can they charge 56 GBP for such a terrible service!
Had a 5 ***** treatment today with Cristina! I'm really happy with my manicure & pedicure. I will be back soon!
I decided to get my nails done before I am going home for little holidays to see my family. So just got my gel nails done 2 hours ago, I got home, took a shower and all the polish just went off. Nails prep was the poorest level, as my nails are naturally very dry so it coulnt be the reason, anyway 2HOURS!!!!! Thanks for nothing, just £34 straight to the bin!!! Tried to call but no one is answering, hopefully someone is going to see this review.
Fantastic service levels over and over again. My nails remain strong as they are handled with care - no overfilling to the point where it damages the nail beds. The nail technicians take feedback and adjust accordingly if anything is out of place. Great location too, delicious cotails. Favourite spot!
The ladies were lovely but unfortunately 10minutes after I left the salon, the nail polish came off. I believe the top coat was too thick to stay on even after 15min of drying. All I’ve got is messy nails and 30£ less;(
Still regretting my £30 lost there. Unprofessional, the manicurist did not even realise that the length of nails was different on each hand after shaping and I had to point it out. Due to that, I finished a good 15 minutes later than expected. Cuticles were not properly removed and the polish came off after just a couple of days. Not recommending to anyone and surely not going there ever again. Extremely overpriced for the quality of service provided.
