   2020/2021 was the first year that I have ever had to submit a personal tax return having previously always been a salaried employee. During Lockdown I had decided to look into additional income streams and submitting paperwork to HMRC always seems so daunting. I had no hesitation having gotten to know Gill to ask her to assist me with this. Gill made the process very simple, straight forward and easy to understand. Even at her busiest time of year she took the time to explain the processes to me, and help me gather all of the required documentation, before submitting the information to HMRC on my behalf. Gill gave me access to an online document portal which allowed me to easily and securely upload documentation and simplified the process of submitting this. Gill’s use of technology, combined with her friendly and professional attitude and approachable manner really do make her stand out from her competition. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Gill and Wren Accounting to my own customers and to family and friends and I will certainly be using her again in the future for my own accountancy needs.    I would like to thank Gill for her expert advice and guidance on my accounts and the use of the cloud accounting. The cloud accounting has saved me so much time and paper work. I used to struggle to manage my books but now I know exactly what I am doing and I don’t have to use my calculator! Gill has been back and forward with my old accountant and now finally has control.    I asked Gill to help me with my bookkeeping at the beginning of this year (2020) and what a good decision that has been. I have probably spoken to her more times in a few short months than I have spoken to my accountants in almost 15 years. She has helped me to migrate to using Quickbooks which allows me to snap my purchase invoices on my phone, saving me hours and hours every month trying to keep my books up-to-date and reconcile my bank statements. Gill is easy to contact and always very helpful. I’ve lost count of the number of times she’s helped me with Quickbooks. She’s been a breath of fresh air. She has also been very proactive to keep me informed about the Government’s support during the COVID-19 pandemic. (I’ve not even heard from my accountants once, by contrast). I have, therefore, no hesitation in recommending Gill’s accounting services to local sole traders and owners of small and medium-sized businesses. After hearing so many times, that as a small business owner, I should outsource those parts of my business activities that I don’t enjoy (or am not qualified in), I’ve finally done it with my bookkeeping - and I couldn’t be happier - and Gill has made that happen for me!
