   NEVER EVER AGAIN! One thing I’ve learned about off plans investments via Redmayne Smith is: NEVER EVER AGAIN! I’ve been reading all the positive reviews and these people may well be at the initial phase of their investment where everything sounds wonderful. We have to yet wait and see what they all have to say post completion. Rather than sharing my bitter experience I thought I would make a constructive review by advising all potential off plan investors to do their due diligence before putting a reservation fee down and not get trapped in the hard selling pressure: “this is a great investment opportunity”, “they are selling out quickly” and my favourite “we’re investing in this development ourselves”, etc etc. Please be aware that off plan investments is an UNREGULATED INDUSTRY therefore it is very important that you do your Due Diligence before getting involved. This is not just with Redmayne Smith but with any agent selling new builds / off plan properties. As Georgina Long rightly pointed out in her review on 4th August 2024, this type of investment only suits those who have high levels of cash in the bank so they can be prepared for all kinds of eventualities. If you're not cash rich, you're simply at risk of losing all the money invested. Sadly, I've witnessed it on several occasions.    We sold our property through Diamond Estates. We dealt with Nicky Mortimer throughout the whole process. She was amazing, always there to answer any questions we had, explained everything to us and helped us through the whole process. She went above and beyond towards the end of the process, helping contact solicitors to get the exchange and completion finalised. Amazing service and helped the whole moving house process go as smoothly as possible.
