   As with many other reviews here, I was hugely disappointed. They send you a letter confirming you are entitled to nearly £600, which would make it worth claiming a rebate in spite of their £180+vat fee. Then they claim the rebate is too little to cover this but they have changed your tax code! It is disingenuous at the very least. They pocket £200+ and you receive nothing. Its a scam dressed up as legit.

   If I could rate this zero I would. Completed the claim for me and took all of the money so I didn’t see a penny. Feel like they hide information and make out you’re going to get a good amount and take it all from you. Disgusting

   I was very disappointed with the service provided by Tax People. The amount I received was tiny and not worth the effort at all. On top of that, their involvement caused unnecessary complications with HMRC, forcing me to spend two days resolving issues that should never have arisen. Overall, the service was not worth the stress, time and effort I lost.

   I appreciate their quick response and efficient work. After 15 days, I received a letter from HMRC indicating the amount. Since my rebate is below £150, I did not receive a refund, as it only covers their professional fee of £180. I suggest doing it yourself if you want a full refund.

   Really fast and easy application and managed to get some money back from HMRC which is a bonus wasn’t fully aware of how much the tax people charge if you do get a successful claim but suppose anything is better thank nothing at all.

   Terrible. HMRC sent my refund to this company in Nov 2023, and I have still not received the funds. Tax People UK Ltd have still not forwarded the funds to me and are ignoring my messages of contact about this. Do not use.

   I was very sceptical about applying for this rebate as I have applied with other companies before. This took just over 6 weeks and I got a letter in the post from the government making it legitimate. I was expecting more but am happy to recieve anything. I would recommend this company.

   Mobile number not landline, unable to get through, no communication, got letter from HMRC.tried calling these people, grumpy gift gaff voicemail. Run do not use them. Expect you to allow them to claim a further 5 years of over paid taxes. Complete scammers.
