   Has anyone else experienced the really rude lady who works behind the counter in Lloyds Chemist, the one next to the Medical Centre at Anchor Meadow? Have you been subjected to her irritation that is easily stirred up just by stepping in the premises? Most people visit the chemist when they are unwell and usually waiting for a prescription or some advice. If there is one place that you expect a bit of empathy it is the chemist. You may have just received some shocking news from the doctor about your health and then you are subjected to this very rude and impatient lady. She is patronising and condescending and make people feel really foolish and embarrassed. She has no customer service skills whatsoever, and what’s more, she is paid by Lloyds Chemist for being so rude. It is totally unacceptable and I just wondered if anyone else had a similar experience of whether she just has a general dislike for me and my family! I went in one day and thought I would chat to her and see if I could encourage her nice side. Absolutely no chance!! She has been there a long time and she seems to enjoy her position of power and authority, taking great delight in telling you that you are too eager and need to wait for the prescription to come from the doctor. Or to announce that they don’t have stock or any other form of news you are not wishing to hear. She is always impatient and clearly coming in for your prescriptions is a great interruption for her other important work that must go on behind the scenes. Are people frightened to tell her of her rudeness, does she even know she is so very rude. Has she just got so frustrated by other rude people that she puts up her guard immediately in the hope of not being disrupted or inconvenienced. I am frankly quite sick of her and I don’t know anything about shortage of medical supplies, other than it is very concerning for those, particularly the elderly, who rely on essential medication. It is just wrong!!!

   I booked the health check-up service through the online booking. Received the confirmation email, also reminder day before the appointment, on the day I arrived here at pharmacy. Lady said it should be cancelled and no staff to do checkup. Is it a joke? Why they are not sending cancellation email if it's cancelled. Pathetic.

2. The Gift Page ★☆☆☆☆

   Used this place 23 years now, today whilst the shop was busy with customers waiting the pharmacist & staff openly discussed & mocked a previous customer, we heard the name and fact customer had dementia ,and their issue with this person …unacceptable & a data breach. They also discussed another employee and the fact they are reporting that person and their lies. I did speak up and did tell them how cross I was as that could have been a relative of mine … really upset me and other customers
