    AVOID if you dont want HMRC chasing you for the money back. Contacted Swift refunds under the refunds for mobile workers advertisement. I sent mountains of documents after going backwards and forwards, recieved one payment out of the 4 years now HMRC are chasing me for the money back and swift want nothing to with it AFTER taking commision. COWBOYS.

    Poor service, lack of communication. They made an error in claim over 4 years ago and were unable to fix it on time, now HMRC will not process the refund as it is too late. Shocking service, do not recommend.

    DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!! If I could give minus stars, it would be 10 They told me I could claim job expenses. The first process tuck months. They became very rude very unprofessional. My accountant that was assigned to me quit without saying anything. The line manager also quit with in the year. I then had HMRC coming after me for the money they paid Swift. I ended up having to pay HMRC back including swifts extortionate fees on top. I have been pushing them for the swift guarantee. They then behind my back made an appeal to HMRC. This won and HMRC awarded some of funds which swift tuck the fees on agin for the same claim. Overall this company had cost me a lot of money. A year of stress. A full blown investigation from HMRC. They don’t answer the phone. They ignore your emails Stay away from them!

    Do not trust them or their agents I would give a lower rating if I could. My advice do not trust this company or their 'tax specialists' they have falsely advised me to go on self assessment saying I can claim back on all these due to my job role, when it turns out I can not actually claim for any of these things. This has been ongoing since August 2024, they will say they have filed your claim but most likely won't or will come back saying they need more information to appeal (they know full well I wasn't eligible to claim) when you cant provide information they will tey charge you for it knowing you could never have got it anyway. On top of this I've spent the last 5 months trying to be removed from self assessment with the HMRC If you are even considering using swift refunds, I would strongly advise against it, unless you want ongoing issues with hmrc.

    Initially filed a claim with them as a employed mobile worker with no regular place to eat and always on the move . No timescales quoted where met . Very poor communication. Asked if I was likely to be changed to self assessment and no answers where given just told claim would be shut down after a year . Sounds like HMRC ask for the money back and this company are no help . Not a reputable organisation it would seem . Although still touting for business on my company workplace.

    1 star is 1 too many. CONS. AVOID. NO COMMUNICATION. Still waiting for a refund from June. The so called accountants do not reply to your emails. HMRC have released a refund of nearly 5k to these con artists and I’ve still not received anything from Swift. Now HMRC are asking me to pay back Β£1600 which they’ve overpaid Swift. Every time I ring Swift it’s the same response β€œthe accountant can’t get in touch with HMRC” yet I can! SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED TO TRADE. Next step financial ombudsman.

    I suggest people to STAY AWAY. I received Β£1.312 by Hmrc and company took commission like Β£425 which is that was the agreement and received Β£870 by swift tax return after commission. Anyway month after hmrc contacted me and told me I wasn't entitle to claim this money, so they want me to pay back Β£1.312. I contacted swift and they keep telling me i did something with another company which I didn't for sure, because swift won't pay me back the fee they took from that claim, so I must put pay hmrc the whole amount. So If you want to face with same situation I had, go for it.

    AVOID SVOID AVOID I started a claim in October and was informed by Lee Chester the process would take 12 weeks...13 weeks on ive been informed the claim hasn't been processed and there dealing with a back log, there is no time scale to claims being processed. Customer service refuse to answer questions and just hang up, this company are chances, Do not use rhis company.

    These mob should be called No refunds. Started a claim a year ago and still have received nothing. Trying to contact them for an update is impossible. No reply to emails, a chat service on their website that is never available and no answer when trying to call. I had to contact HMRC and have had them removed as my acting agents. I would advise anyone to look elsewhere or do the claim yourself which turns out to be relatively simple.
