There are 3 members of staff in there that are great tracey is brilliant so is another lady (i dont know her name) but I have to give the biggest shout out to the young girl who works there she truly is brilliant will go above and beyond to find your prescription always helpful and polite shes a credit to the place and I hope she goes far !
Used them for years, always friendly, always helpful. Sent email to my doctors for a repeat prescription, called the pharmacy a couple days later to confirm it was ready, picked it up that afternoon. I really don't recognise some of the recent reviews as being applicable to this place
I have got a weekly prescription exactly the same items for over 10 years, every other pharmacist before the present pharmacist always had it made up and ready for me to collect every week in the morning without me having to remind them,it was a professional and friendly service. The current pharmacist has been working there for a year to 18 months and I have to phone every week and ask for my prescription to be made up or else it's not done until late afternoon/early evening and even when I do this I get there and it's still not made up,then comes the long wait while she chats with colleagues talking for 10-20 mins!! It's stressful and annoying. Disgraceful and so unprofessional. Tuesday 26th August today and here's an update on the service again as it's my weekly prescription pick up day: I didn't phone earlier today asking if my prescription was ready for collection, so I was just going to see how long it would take for the chemist to text me to let me know that my prescription was ready for collection (this has been a recent service added which I will admit is a positive and clear response letting customers know to pick up their prescription,a good working practice.). So back to today I had not had a text sent to me and time was 5.21pm so I phoned the chemist on my way down to them and asked if my prescription was ready to collect, I was told that it was so I let them know that I would be there in about 10mins at the most and thanked them. When I got to chemist I was told that my prescription was done but needed to be checked by the pharmacist, so I sat down to wait until the pharmacist had served everyone else, even a few people that came in after me! It soon became clear as to why I was served last and late; the pharmacist had read my earlier post from last Tuesday!! Where we go from here is up to the pharmacist, I can only hope that an honest and open discussion can be had to resolve the issues. As for the rest of the staff there they are friendly helpful and professional. Karen
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Knights Pharmacy Catshill has been consistently frustrating. The service is extremely poor and unhelpful. I recently had a prescription delayed, and despite explaining the urgency, the pharmacy refused to offer even a single tablet to tide me over. This lack of compassion and flexibility was incredibly disappointing. The pharmacy always seems disorganised and chaotic. Staff appear overwhelmed and uninterested in helping customers. On this occasion, it was my first time ordering a prescription late, and I was hoping for some understanding or assistance—but I received none. Instead, I was met with indifference and no effort to resolve the issue. I would strongly recommend considering alternative pharmacies in the area. There are others that offer far better customer service, are more reliable, and genuinely care about patient wellbeing. Knights Pharmacy Catshill has unfortunately lost my trust.
We've only used this pharmacy for a short time but are moving elsewhere due to repeat issues with the staff. They are often grumpy and rude; they receive the prescriptions from your GP but won't complete them until they are ready. When a young person is on tramadol daily and then waiting 3 days just for the pharmacy to box her prescription (that is not any wait for the prescription itself- but upto 3 days ONCE they have it on their persons). I've never had any other pharmacy be this rigid, take so long or refuse to do it if you attend in person! It's just a huge barrier to peoples needs and not something I'm prepared to continue doing so we'll just move. Second time having a bad experience with Knights, albeit a different branch. Never had issues with any other pharmacy ever
All staff members are so helpful and have time to answer any queries/ concerns I may have . I've been coming to this pharmacy for many years. Even though I have a chemist in the village I live in much prefer to come to knights in Catshill.
Went in to book and get a typhoid vaccination from the travel clinic, service was very efficient and thorough when I booked and when I went in for my appointment. My surgery quoted me a 6 week wait for an appointment, this pharmacy gave me an appointment for the next day.
Friendly staff, lady normally behind the till very helpful. Never had an problems.
Pharmacy is always extremely busy but staff are cheerful and helpful. In addition to prescription requirements there are many other useful items on display. Staff also text me when prescription is ready to avoid wasteful journey to the shop and unnecessary waiting. Knights is a great asset to the village.
All members of staff go above and beyond with help, advice and efficiency. Text me when my pills are ready for collection and always very pleasant when I go in to collect them
