I understand there is long waits for meds for some people/at certain times. But I've found the staff are very friendly and apologetic, and have helped with queries. I always call late afternoon to check on my prescription and they answer fairly quickly and sort my prescription for the following day as I request.
This pharmacy can have your prescription for a week and you still have to wait at least 30 minutes for them to get it ready for you and then you still have to go back as they don't have all the tablets prescribed. The shop looks like a jumble sale with meds all over the floor in boxes. I would give this pharmacy a negative score if that was possible. People only use it as it is so close to the doctors surgery.
Don’t even deserve the star! Absolute terrible service! Everytime you go in you have to wait an hour for your prescription to get taken out the basket and handed to you even when the chemist is empty. The people spend too long talking and having mothers meetings rather than dealing with customers. Never have I ever been to a chemist that is as bad as hingleys.
Awful service. They never answer the phone, are permanently behind with making up prescriptions,so do not expect it to be ready until 5 days plus after it's been received. Also don't expect them to have all of the tablets you need, as most times one or more items will be out of stock or you only get a fraction of whats needed. They do not open Saturdays, and so if you work,and don't get home until after 6pm , go somewhere else. All of my friends and myself have gone elsewhere, after putting up with the shocking service far too long. I would much prefer to support a local business, but when I can go into Tesco pharmacy same day and wait under 10 minutes and be served with all the items and a smile , why would I. ?.
Most improved than before, helpful staff, my local, range of pharmaceuticals always ask staff very friendly, it can get jam packed with people but I always find it best to pop in a little later or afternoon and open till 6pm also deliver meds to people around local area. Just Grand!
I get my dad's prescription every week delivered,for the second time my dad has no tablets again,I went to chemist and they still wasnt ready, first time was 4 days without meds he is diabetic and other problems how long has he got without meds or will they be ready tomorrow, its ridiculous, I have complained to management but looks like fell on deaf ears im so angry
Ordered prescription on Monday they said be ready Thursday phoned up was in queue was no 3 for a while then no 2 eventually no 1 was coming up to 1 hour on phone the was ended there end, phoned again no 3 then no 4 in queue trying to go to tesco
I cannot fault this chemist. Always answer the phone. Always polite and helpful. It’s a pleasure to enter the shop and be spoken to in a lovely manner. Nothing is too much trouble. Well done
Awful pharmacy DO NOT USE! Got medication wrong SIX TIMES. That's right six times said they was going to do it on phone there and then on phone. DISGUSTING!!
