Incredibly unfriendly. I used to come here when I lived in the area and they were very unfriendly then but did a good job at nails. I popped in today just to see if they could do nails, I barely got a hello, seems uninterested in speaking to me and no customer service skills at all! If you want a friendly experience I would recommend other salons in the area as they’ve always made me feel uncomfortable here, and like you’re doing them a favour!

Called the day before to check opening times on Easter Friday bank holiday, and ended up booking an appointment for 4pm. Arrived at 3.50 and was sent away. There was only 1 other customer in the shop! I Booked for a soak off and gel manicure. The lady apologised that she was running late. I sat down hoping to just wait but was told to come back at 4.30. I explained that I have health issues and dealing with a hernia but the response I got wasn't very friendly and welcoming. Was told to leave the door open on my way out. Why couldn't I have the soak off while waiting? I didn't end up going back at 4.30 as I was to unwell to return. Complete waste of time and energy. Very disappointed.

I’m really surprised to read some of the reviews here, so much so I wonder if there is another salon with the same name. I’ve included a couple of pictures of my nails from recent months and I’m a happy customer, yes slightly more expensive then some of the other places locally but since I started going to Bijou (last year) I’ve not looked back and I’m more than happy to pay the extra given my nails never chip, my designs are always well done and my cuticles neatly addressed. I’ll also add my hands are forever in water and I’m terrible for wearing gloves and yet my nails last for weeks. Yes you can sometimes expect wait times but this a small independent business with a high client demand, the main nail technician is equally in demand for being exceptionally thorough. Trying to juggle clients, high standard whilst trying to keep a business financially afloat is no easy task! She has my vote!

I had a gel pedicure. It looks good and the gel has stayed on really well. I think its been about 3 weeks so my nails have grown a bit but the gel has stayed perfect.

Under new management and with a gorgeous coat of paint outside. Had a mani-pedi and it was fantastic. The technician was friendly and professional, did the most amazing job on my feet and my hands. Listened to the shape I want and the gel is standing the test of time. Can’t wait to go back for my next appointment

Nails look nice, but technician was quite rough and in rushed. She obviously was reusing used files and drill bits that had stuff on them. Everything near chair was covered in dust and nail particles. I've asked for gel extentions, she gave me acrylics. Only reason I stayed was my social anxiety.

Lovely and welcoming staff. The pedicure was good but there was still some hard skin left on both heels unfortunately. SNS with tips was very well done by Jerry, lasted exactly 2 weeks. Will definitely come again! EDIT: The owner is dishonest and only cares about making money. Too bad! Never going again.
