   I don’t usually leave reviews but felt it right to do so as Chris was brilliant today. I took our oven door off to clean the oven. One of the hinge clips got stuck and I couldn’t get it back straight. I called Chris, left a voicemail and he came back to me really quickly and then came round even though he wasn’t actually meant to be working at that time. Fixed it straight away as he has both the expertise and tools. Wouldn’t accept any payment as it took literally 30 secs once he was here but accepted a bottle of beer which was the very least I could offer after he went out of his way to answer the call! If he hadn’t fixed it the weekend cooking would have been thrown into disarray! I’ve now asked him to quote for a much bigger job. Cannot recommend too highly. Restores one’s faith in good honest and professional service. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

   A couple of years ago I was looking for someone to repair our Smeg dishwasher and I found Appliance Lab online - and I’m delighted I did! We’ve used Chris from Appliance Lab for appliance repairs on three occasions now and he’s been brilliant every time - we’d never use anyone else. He’s really friendly, offers good advice and clearly knows exactly what he’s doing. He just makes everything easy - always responds quickly to booking requests and has always been able to fit us in quickly. He even sends a text message with a tracking link so you know when he’ll arrive! I’m not usually one for writing online reviews, but I’ve struggled a bit to find reliable tradespeople recently and Chris’ service has always been fantastic. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Appliance Lab to anyone.

   Chris came around didn't even have a drill to unscrew the hob screws. Still charged the full £60 - and said he would come back next week. Didn't even mange to get the hob off the gas hob off to look at fixing the ignition. If there was a zero star I would have selected that. We will see what next week brings - will update review at Stage 2!
