   Absolutely loved our visit to the Crucible to see ‘A Christmas Carol’ this week. Very comfortable and intimate venue. The whole thing was fabulous, from the very funny Scrooge, to the brilliant performances from the children in the cast. Very topical in this increasingly greedy and insular world of ours - someone needs to ship Donald Trump over and force him to sit through it!

   Great theatre , not seen a bad production here and Saturday nights performance of A Christmas Carol was fantastic. All actors were brilliant, led by a great Mr Scrooge . The children were excellent too. We enjoyed the singing incorporated in the play , a real festive night to begin Christmas 2025 !

   All three venues, The Crucible, The Lyceum and The Studio are excellent. I have seen some superb shows here such as Our Friends In The North, Oliver and And Anyone Else Who Knows Me a play Oir Crucilbe In Education group devised and acted in at the Studio.

   Love visiting Sheffield theatres lots going on. I do wish they wouldn’t open the fire doors in the Lyceum during interval in the winter though it a hell of a draft for us wheelchair users.

   First visit to the Studio. Good intimate little theatre but seats not very comfy and I had backache before the play started. The play, Love n Stuff was very good though. 2 actors playing a number of characters. Very clever and funny.
