   Very disappointed with the customer service at Huws Gray Ruislip. I arrived at 17:05—well before their official closing time of 17:15—just to quickly pick up a tube of Stixall and one of Caulk. A female staff member, who spoke with an Eastern European accent, was incredibly rude and dismissive. She sarcastically laughed and told me I had 11 hours to come, then refused to serve me because she had already packed everything. I understand staff may begin closing routines, but refusing a quick sale within opening hours, and doing so in such an unprofessional and condescending way, is simply unacceptable. I’ve been a loyal customer, but this experience has really made me think twice about returning.

   Really great service, as a D.I.Y customer they were very helpful and friendly in giving me advice on materials to use and showed me examples of timber etc. Ordered on the spot and given next day delivery,No worries!

   Routinely, if infrequently used this place when it was Crescent. Needed a couple of bags of ballast to re-level some now trip hazard paving slabs. Same staff at the trade counter, and as ever too few guys working in the yard. Also noticed a gazebo with a couple of suppliers. After loading the bags of ballast, I had a chat. Guys were from the Phillips Screw Company. Explained I only use Torx-headed exterior screws and was introduced to their Timber Wolf range. Was given the promo bag with their retaining head Torx driver, (same gravity defying effect as the Wera HF drivers), and a box of 130 5 x 80mm screws. Will try them on the next construction.

   Unfortunately this review reflects the drivers not the actual product supplies. They will happily block a road and offload anywhere. Even if it blocks schools access at 8:30am. Rude inconsiderate drivers. For this reason I would not recommend this company.
