   Chris and the team did an amazing job designing and making my engagement ring. It wasn’t a straightforward brief as we were using diamonds from another ring that were all different sizes… but Chris rose to the challenge & I now have the most beautiful ring that means the world to me as it’s made from my grandmothers diamonds.    Visited this shop to get a bracelet alteration on a watch. As I don't know this chap from Adam, I asked him for a receipt while I left the watch with him (It's expensive). He flatly refused, stating that he had MILLIONS OF POUNDS WORTH OF STOCK and he wasn't going anywhere. He said he didn't have the time to be writing out receipts as he was really busy (He wasn't). He came across as incredibly unprofessional and unnecessarily unhelpful, a bit of a prick to be fair. Good luck running your business in this manner... you'll need it.

   Finding a lovely loose Amethyst I had to find someone that could give me the best investment looking like I might wear it. Giving this team my preference I got the lovely investment that I have worn to special jaunts. As I’d found him I had to get another one updated from white gold to platinum and he did it too.    Used this jewellers a few months ago to create a bespoke necklace. Despite the final product being lovely, the service was appalling. It ruined what should have been an enjoyable experience designing and getting excited about bespoke jewellery for our mother. So, because of this, I wouldn't recommend this jewellers. Even though we were told often that they would keep us updated, send us a CAD prototype design, etc. this never happened, and we were forced to ring/email numerous times to see if/when the necklace would be ready, what it would look like, etc. We were also told multiple times that we were 'getting the necklace for a steal', to the point where I told Evans it was getting too much. After all, they are the experts, and if the value doesn't reflect the budget, it's their responsibility to inform us and adjust as necessary, or give us a more accurate estimate. Furthermore, when I said this to Evans, he retorted that I was 'micromanaging' the project and need to let him 'get on with it'. It seems he clearly missed the irony that I, the client, had been forced to manage the project because they had failed to do so. Finally, the day after when I picked the product up, I confronted Evans and, politely, advised him not to speak to future customers like he had done to me again. His response? "I've always been like this and a few people have said that to me, but I'll never change for anyone". Says it all really. Arrogant, condescending and entitled.
