   What an amazing jewellers. I’ve been going here for years and honestly the gentleman is so polite , always smiling and so happy to help with anything you need. Every time I bring something in for repair it’s always done perfectly and with so much care. I wish I could have give more stars because they deserve it. They have such a huge range of different things you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for much I’ll certainly be back :) highly recommended jewellers

   If I could give this 0 stars I would. We have been using this jewellers for years. I brought in a precious piece of jewellery of mine to this store to be repaired thinking it would be taken care of in the way you would expect from a trusted jeweller. Upon collection of the necklace, it was shorter than it was when I first brought it in and I saw the extender I had added was now missing. I asked about this with the owner of the store and can honestly say that I was not expecting him to respond in the way he did. He was: Rude- he said my chain was only worth £30 so he doesn’t know why I’m bothering complaining! Verbally aggressive- shouting over me and when I challenged his behaviour, he told me to leave. Had no regard for personal property- after speaking to my mum who dropped off the chain (and has been a good customer of his) he threw my phone onto the top of the table. Unhelpful - replied with “well, so you say. It’s your word against theirs chuck ” when I said the extender hadn’t been put back on by the workshop. Please avoid this man’s shop at all costs especially if your jewellery is of sentimental value, and use one of the other fantastic jewellers locally to this. I would never want this happening to anyone else

   Me and my partner always take our jewellery here, for repairs/cleaning. My parents and friends also use David Lawrence for purchases and repairs. Lucky to have someone we can trust local! Thank you, from the person who always forgets their receipts! Thank you for the fantastic service once again. Wouldn’t use anyone else.

   Hi, been in this shop several times both as a customer and as a courier / delivery driver. The people that own and run this business are a credit to their profession. Always willing to help with deliveries even offering cold drinks through the hot weather ! To top all this off, last week I visited the shop to get a watch fixed only for the guy to do it instantly there and then. I was so impressed and asked him the cost of the repair to which he replied don’t worry about it it only took me a short time so it’s ok I won’t charge. Wow just wow ! I thought this sort of customer care was gone forever. Thankyou again for your service !

   Was looking for a birthstone pendant , had tried various high street Jewelers . They were extremely unhelpful but David as the norm came up trumps , also at a much cheaper price for a perfect pendant. He has also sourced me a brand new Swiss watch cheaper and with all the same guarantee’s as the high street shops. Highly recommend David a true professional and always a pleasure doing business with.
