I recently purchased a gold bracelet for my grandaughters 13th birthday at the end of August. A beautiful 14ct gold greek lock and key (i think that's what it was called ) very delicate pretty bracelet which she loved . All the sales assistants were brilliant especially the young lady that served me . My grandaughter only wears this at the weekends due to being in school during the week . A couple of weeks ago she told me the catch on the bracelet wasnt fastening properly, so she hadn't put it on as she was scared of losing it . I called in and spoke to Mark and explained the problem. He asked me to point out the bracelet for him and immediately took it out of the shop window as it was the only one there . He wrote my name on the bag and told me to bring my grandaughters bracelet in with the receipt and he will happily swap it for me . I have not been able to get back there for 2 wks due to work commitment. My Daughter in law has had the house upside down looking for the box and receipt, but unfortunately to no avail .(They have recently decorated my grandaughter bedroom). I called back in the shop on Saturday and let them know that we couldn't find the receipt, and that I was conscious that Mark had put the bracelet out of the window away and could of sold it if it was on display. I thanked them anyway . As I didnt have the receipt I knew there was nothing else I could do . The lady I spoke to was called Maxine . She told me to bring the bracelet in and if it was the same bracelet she will happily swap it for me . I explained I don't have the receipt anymore but I could show them a bank statement to prove when I purchased the bracelet. Maxine Just said ,just bring the bracelet back in . I took the bracelet in the store this morning and was served by Mark I explained I had called in on Saturday and had spoke to Maxine. I gave him my grandaughter bracelet that wasnt working properly. He explained to me that because it was one of there own designs it was easy enough to swap over but if it was a second hand one this would of been a lot harder to do . I then seen Maxine in the store and thanked her very much both her and Mark are a credit to your company ,they both went out of there way to help me ,excellent customer service. I really appreciate the time they gave me and the help . I now have a happy grandaughter again ,with a beautiful bracelet that she loves . Thank you so much Marie Anderson.

Went to buy necklace in the sale costing £1,500 was originally £2,000, was told I could put deposit down & pay off within 3 months. (Called lay-by)When I went to put deposit down I was then told the sale ends on 11 Aug 25, two weeks away from todays date & if the item was not paid in full by that time then the item would revert back to its original price of £2,000. I have informed trading standards & phoned their head office as this is illegal, they can not sell you something in the sale, offer lay-by for 3 months but then put the price back to full if sale ends within your 3 month lay-by. By law, the price on the item when purchased or deposit put down must be honoured by seller. Please be aware of this if you buy something in the sale & take the option to pay off within 3 months. Feel this is a rip off as they never have a sale period that last over 3 months. Hopefully trading standards will intervene.

First time visiting a pawn shop and what a lovely team they have here. I had some jewellery I was looking to sell. The team explained how the pricing works and gave me some advice on how/where I can get the best price for it. Very welcoming and helpful, they take their time to give you the best possible information. If they cannot give you the best price they will tell you who will based on the item you have and that sums this place!

Rude manager who made me come back 4 times to use Western Union. Numerous excuses from the system wasnt working. I was asked what was the exact converted amount to the last penny, which when clarified with Western Union was not a required question to be asked. Plus I was never asked this question before by the same person the Manager James. He made me come back 4 different times and gave me 4 different reasons why he couldn't serve me. Again baring in mind the first 2 transactions carried out some what smoothly. I produced my driving licence and had the transaction number on each occasion. He lied and said he had on every occasion asked me what the converted amount I recieved was. (No he never) I called him out on his lies and called the sender who confirmed we were never asked what the converted amount was only how much was sent then James would convert it and pay out the money. He James lied very comfortably, I feel sorry for him. A member of public tried to intervene and said just go on to google and convert it. James the manager said NO he wants the exact converted amount to the last penny. Very sad individual. Thank goodness a shopper caught this all on camera. So happy not to have to deal with a unprofessional career liar. I feel sorry for his staff.
