Great range of products and well-organized store. The staff are helpful and friendly, making it easy to find what you need. Prices are reasonable and quality is reliable. Only downside is the checkout can get a bit slow at peak times, but overall a very good experience.
Adrian from the Southgate branch provided exceptional service, ensuring our whole-house flooring was delivered on time, despite being 20 miles away. Unfortunately, the local branch in essex responsible for the delivery failed to provide even basic customer care whilst delivering.

How the times have changed. 6 years ago I wrote a review of Selco stating how good they were. They have gone downhill. My last two orders I placed for delivery always turn up late. I'm still waiting for one today. I phoned them and got one syllable responses. I believe because I'm only a 10 minute walk away they leave my stuff on the truck to deliver as their last one on they way back to the New Southgate Base. I'm seriously fed up with their service this past year. I'll be going elsewhere in future
Decent stock but not impressed with what can only be described as sinister - that they display prices without VAT so you think prices are decent, until you get to the till. Why not display both prices like others do, as seen in the photo example. With such stiff competition, it can't bode well for Selco.

The worst branch in the whole GLA, customer service below skirting level! Rude and slow. Bench saw never available for 2,5 years I have been shopping in this branch.
My first order click and collect.... I booked for 7.30am and when I get there I have to wait approx 40 minutes to be able to pick it up. Nobody knows about my order, then they did not have the staff to bring my items..... Poor service. Also the parking is very tight. Not enough spaces... Apart from that, is a good shop.
Horrific experience. Aggressive and bullying staff, over the tiniest/non existent issue. The manager was threatening and deeply unpleasant, told me that “I didn’t have enough brain cells to understand” and threatened to call the police. All whilst not wearing a mask and getting far too close. Other staff have also learnt from this vile character. Left shaking and upset, and have taken the matter up with Selco management.
Rude manager or supervisor with big beard rudely asked me to remove my safety helmet and mask. He was not wearing a mask or face shield. Shouting at me to remove mine, the spray and smell from his mouth was revolting. Had to leave before things escalated. PLEASE INSURE YOUR EMPLOYEES WEAR MASKS LIKE EVERYONE ELSE There was a 4 foot sign stating a £200 fine on customers not wearing masks. I am right in assuming staff members are exempt from wearing masks. Your regional manager will be duly informed.
