Used to be run by two knowledgeable, helpful old men. Now seems to be run by a dishevelled, clueless and charmless youth always talking loudly on his phone or watching loud Asian video streams. Stock is a mess and customer service is abrupt and hostile
Having lived in Marylebone for 25 years and often supported this hardware store, today confirmed how unhelpful, rude, obnoxious and entitled the staff were on a simple ask. Avoid this shop at all costs.
Worse costumer service ever! The guy at the till was clearly annoyed and ignoring me before basically pushing me out with his "No" before I even had a chance to explain what I needed. Pathetic!
I went to three other hardware stores. At each of them, I showed a photo of what I wanted to the clerk. They didn’t seem to understand and kept trying to tell me to buy something different. Finally, I went to Webster’s. The gentlemen at the counter, looked at the photo and just asked, “how many would you like to buy?” I left very happy.

Been buying for years from them but they just went terribly downhill. Now I’m waiting outside their shop on a Saturday when it should be open from 9am, it’s now 9.15 and still closed. Absolute shambles.
Be careful what you buy, you cannot return it, they will only offer you a store credit blaming bank fees and finally your poor decision making.
Don't go here to get your key cut Key doesn't work they cut for me. The guy didn't look like he knew what he was doing. Would rate it 0 stars if I could.
Friendly staff, tool and hardware shop has almost everything you need under one roof. What they don't have can easily be ordered in.
