   Very helpful yard staff and when our order was delivered the driver was very relaxed- even though various road works had made him a bit behind schedule. Did not do price comparison but I feel it is likely to be competitive. One tonne bags although not listed on their (basic) website was a good price and good quality. I parked on the wide pavement ( not blocking pedestrians/ wheelchair etc)by entrance - not strictly legal but probably ok for shortish visits. Recommended

   Just visited Selhurst Timber Croydon for a DIY project and was thoroughly impressed. The staff's knowledge is outstanding - I simply showed them a picture of what I was working on, and they immediately knew exactly what screws and rawlplugs I'd need. Their recommendations were spot on, which saved me time and potential frustration. The quality of materials is good, and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering this is a local independent business. It's refreshing to find somewhere that combines expertise with fair pricing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for timber and hardware supplies in the area. The kind of knowledgeable, personal service you just don't get at the big box stores.

   I count Selhurst among my most valued and trusted suppliers. The desk and yard lads are fantastic - friendly, helpful, and always going the extra distance to meet your needs. Even the sales team are a joy (no offence Tristan, David ;) The products (and value) are first rate, Timber quality is superb and aggregate equally impressive. Have never used finer ballast for example. Attached is a pic of a job done last week. The timber and smiling customer speak for themselves.    Brilliant guys!! Friendly, helpful and patient service just what I needed. My local merchant wanted to charge me well over the odds for goods and delivery but Selhurst Timber charged their normal competitive prices and delivery charge, they could have ripped me off considering the circumstances but didn't. Nice to find some old fashioned honest service. Well done lads!
