   The place we stayed was gorgeous and the owner was very helpful. My favourite cottages were ok, there’s lots of lovely places available on their site but they gave us the wrong arrival information and didn’t mention the key safe, and their listing on booking.com mentions towels, but when we got there it turned out they weren’t included. Luckily the owner gave us hers to use for the weekend

   I stumbled on my favourite cottages while looking for a short break. Their site was easy to navigate and they had a good selection of accommodation. We chose the Hen house in North devon which was a superb choice. The place was amazing with everything you could want for a relaxing stay. The views were stunning!!! Will definitely be back. As for My favourite cottages l would definitely use them again. Easy to book with up to date communication and you can ring and actually speak to someone if you have any concerns. I have already recommended them to family and friends.

   We liked: the cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy We really enjoyed the space, the views from nearly every room, the insulation but also the ability to create a cooling air flow when it got hot. Everything was practical and convenient across the house. The kitchen was well fitted and easy to negotiate. The front conservatory was also a real hit: it gets nice and cosy and the sliding windows allow you to tweak - a great place to have breakfast, read quietly in the afternoon or just sit and enjoy the magnificent view. Only gripes: • showers needed shower curtains • a couple of lights (or bulbs???) weren't working

   We stayed at Higher Mullacott farmhouse at the end of June as a family of 10 we were amazed how lovely the farmhouse was it was spacious and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other it was very clean with nice fresh bedding and towels the kitchen was big and well equipped it had everything that we needed, we had supplies all ready there like washing up liquid dish cloths and tea towels black bags etc tea coffee sugar and even coffee pods for the coffee machine all the bedrooms was a good size we even had a hairdryer which was great as I forgot to take mine there is a bedroom downstairs which was ideal for me as I have mobility issues we did use the BBQ even the coal and fire lighters was provided. The grounds was beautiful and very well maintained the children loved the park there is a beach hut that had plenty of things to use at the beach The owners Mark and Tina had thought of every extra little detail that you may need to make your stay perfect we all had a wonderful family time together at a perfect farmhouse and we will definitely be booking again Thank you

   My Favourite Cottages response to the facilities at Wheel Barn not being as described, or falling very short of their website description was just to say that they would let the Owner know. All other dealings up to our arrival was competent and satisfactory. The website description does not accurately describe the facilities of the property we rented: the building, rooms/beds was correct, but all the other other promised facilities eg acres of woodland, children's play area, tennis court etc were either non-existent or dangerously unusable. The property was also mouldy and dirty: in my opinion the letting company, My Favourite Cottages, should ensure that the owners fulfill both the description and expected cleanliness.

   We find the accommodation excellent for our week, however it could improved by adding a small nest of tables on which to place drinks and nibbles etc whilst relaxing watching tv! Better instructions on where to find the key case for Mill Wheel would be useful, I had to ring the owner to locate it. We were disappointed that the advertised Tennis Court was unusable because of moss and algae on the surface which made it unsafe to play, it had obviously been in this condition for some weeks and should not be advertised as a asset.
