Came today for their Halloween ‘party’ didn’t have a great experience at all really. My little girl was really looking forward to it and don’t get me wrong she enjoyed the soft play but the experience overall wasn’t great. Firstly, we got there and the place was chocker, we had to stand up with a new baby for the entire time and not once were we offered a seat, our toddler had to eat on a chair we had to ask to borrow. The event was advertised as a ‘disco’ there was no music until half way through and it was so quiet. Then when it came to the food it was a shambles unfortunately, no cutlery so people were just grabbing chips with their hands, no queue or anything so kids getting knocked left right and centre. It’s shame because the place was so clean and staff friendly. But £15 we won’t get back.

Really lovely soft play facility. Everything felt clean, new and well planned with soft flooring throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful (little one has an allergy). So many options for play (sensory room, baby soft play, bigger soft play, toys - eg play kitchen and books). The food was good too.

The play frame and facilities are good however staff just seem so unbothered and unhappy. When we came previously, Hannah who worked there was always had a smile on her face and was always willing to have a chat to me and my husband, she got to know us and never failed to ask us about our week and that friendly touch made us weekly visitors! There are more bigger children now with the play frame growing is understandable so possibly something to stop the big ones coming into the baby space. It’s a good set up but the staff let it down. Thank you for your response. We will try again when the schools go back and see how it is then. Is Hannah no-longer a member of staff? She told us that she was staying on you see and The Play Den certainly isn’t The Play Den without her, many customers, I assure you, will agree. We’d have loved to stay in contact with her another way if we’d have known she wasn’t going to be there when reopening.

Visited with a younger relative who had an amazing time. The play frame and rooms were clean and inviting. The play frame was actually really impressive and my daughter went around it with her cousin. Coffee and Matcha were a hit with us (absolutely loved the range of non dairy milks which were not an additional charge). I particularly liked how much calmer it was than other play places we have visited which we usually leave due to overwhelm- even though it was fully booked. The sensory room is a brilliant addition. Staff were attentive and kept the place clean and also on hand to help. We received a friendly welcome, goodbye and service was great when we wanted drinks. No complaints at all.

Recently refurbished to a really high standard. The place is immaculate and hopefully stays that way. All toys work which is so rare to find in a play centre, usually most have missing parts or don’t turn on at all. The little sensory room is lovely. All the floor is laid out with soft tiling so if there are any trips and falls least they have fallen on softer ground. The new play frame is great. Lots to do on it well built secure and clean. (That plastic see through floor terrifies me though lol). My only 2 things I would like to see is 1) the baby/toddler play area better monitored. I had my 1 year old in there who is only small and there were children who were 5/6 throwing things round hitting her and pushing her and knocking her over. And 2) Going on from above a session for smaller babies maybe under 3’s as even on the play frame kids of 6+ kicking her in her head while they run up the climbing area and push past us as she obviously takes longer to climb as she is a baby and is learning how to do it. So maybe doing a few sessions a week just for smaller babies would be good as then they won’t get hurt with older kids being too rough. Overall it’s a great play centre. And I’ll take the baby back. But I’d prob only take her again on school days when I know it will be quieter and not as busy and no older kids.

Great place! Safe, fun space for little ones and comfortable area adjacent for adults. Really friendly owner who clearly cares about her business. Definitely recommend.

First time at Brew and Buddies. Took my 3 year old grandchild. Perfect for her as quite a small play area and only really suitable for under 5s. Didn't realise you had to book but still very welcoming and had room for us. Would advise booking a slot next time as we didn't have all the alloted time. Nice tea and coffee. Would recommend as they only charge for children not adults.

We had my little girl's birthday party here and would highly recommend it. Gill and her team took care of everything & it was all well organised and hassle free. Play centre is clean and well maintained with plenty of seating for grown ups. The kids really enjoyed themselves. Lovely party room for the food. Thank you for a lovely party :-)

I couldn't recommend here enough for children's play and in particular birthday party. We had our sons 3rd party here on 23rd july, guest appearance of chase and they accommodated some complex dietary needs. Couldn't recommend enough ..get yourselves there and see for yourself...the owner was so helpful and accommodating Thank you Simon xxx

Great little place for little ones , well thought out space with lots for them to do whilst being easy to keep an eye on them while sitting having a brew ( nice little selection of sandwiches cakes etc. Kids lunch box plus drink £3.75 , I think good value for money ) . Safe and spotlessly clean , lovely staff. Booking system so never overcrowded. Free for adults and under 1s.and definitely worth taking under 2s at £3.75 and I think £5.25 for 2 to 9 year oldsfor 1 hour 30 minutes play time . 7 year old still.enjoyed it but juniors probably want/ need somewhere bigger. Really convenient for Yew tree park .highly recommend for a couple of hours value for money fun( but not too hectic )
