What can I say?? I saw Alison (store manager) walking past my shop at around 9 am. I called her over and told her exactly where I want to go, what date, how many people travelling and the price I’ve seen online. She went away, came back just over an hour later, did a dance in my shop and presented me with the perfect holiday and at a price that was £800 less than what I had seen and I’m a savvy shopper!! I went into the store at around 10.30ish. I was looked after by the lovely Michelle and an hour or so later I walked out with all paperwork in hand and a very happy chappy. All the ladies at Hays Pontefract are an awesome, friendly, welcoming, smiley and fun loving gang. I run my own retail business and I’d happily employ all the staff and if Hays management ever wanted to see how the perfect store should be run, come spend a few days at the Pontefract branch.
We booked a hen do through Hays Travel Pontefract and honestly had the best experience. Emily was amazing from the start, nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always patient and super helpful. She found us the perfect location, hotel, and flight times, and kept in touch right up until we left. I booked to go to Alton Towers for 2 days in May, it was for Sept, 2 weeks before I hadn't heard anything and I went into the Pontefract branch and I asked and I was told I was still going and not to worry! Then a week later, I found out my holiday had been cancelled and I had 3 alternate choices which were Harry Potter, lego land and Cadburys world and safari Park! When rebooking my trip I was told I'd be getting a refund of £30, I chose the cadburys World and safari, even though I didn't enjoy it I tried my bestto enjoy! After being sent a text to go to hayes website and click the link and in put my bank details, which I wasn't prepared to do, I also received another message to ring them and tell my personal details and my address and bank account number so they could do a bank transfer, which I also wasn't prepared to do, why should I go to all that trouble and effort when it was their mistake, they should be making all the effort to please me, isn't that what customer service is all about, I've waited 3 and half months for my refund. So if you want to book a holiday and it doesn't happen, and you don't get your refund, go to Hayes, they won't getting money again!
It lovely at Skegness everything you need to buy and the Crown Hotel that we are staying in is a Lovely Hotel and the Breakfast is A1 as much as you want to Eat. The Bedrooms are Lovely and there's plenty of room in them and the Evening menu in the Bar is Everything you would want to Eat and the Food is Extremely Good
