   This place is amazing Pauline’s coffee group all had Sunday lunch there today. Everyone loved it, food & staff outstanding. Very reasonably price will even let you take out or deliver to your door. Very well worth a try. Only opened today. Very well priced children’s meals. Jun Irwin Chester

   Great bird auction last Sunday of every month you can take birds to sell or buy you pay £1.50 for entry and £2-£3 membership to bid membership is for the year . Birds are in cages if you bid you are paying per bird not cage if your selling there's a 10% charge on the sale of your birds there's a cafe for hot and cold food and drinks and toilets readily available and lots of parking spaces young kids have free entry. One of the better bird auctions to go to You can enter at 9:30am Auction starts at 12 pm.

   We are on holiday so looked for local tea dances. We found this & were delighted. Anthony welcomed us & made sure he played dances we knew. The other dancers were lovely, smiley and could not have been nicer to us. We highly recommend this fortnightly tea dance to anyone living locally or, like us, passing by. 10 out of 10 for this tea dance. Sonya & Steve

   Been here years little old and tired now but clean and spacious Coffee shop function rooms for slimming clubs and alike They do lots for the kids and really try to help the community. Doctors is attached but review is just for community centre as wouldn't give the surgery the same rating so not fair review

   Use the community centre once a week for exercise class. Staff friendly, food has been very good so far. It has always Been quite busy so think that speaks volumes.

   I was most disappointed by the incompetence of the staff at the Lache community centre. I booked the venue over the phone in good faith and when I went to pay the deposit I was told that it was no longer available as there was another booking that had been made 12 months earlier that hadn't been put in the diary! When I made the booking I left my telephone number but nobody thought to contact me about the double booking. At the time of booking I was told that I didn't have to do anything else, my booking was in the diary but to ensure that I paid the deposit at least one week before the planned event (7th Oct). I went to pay the deposit yesterday (18th September)! Aren't I glad I didn't leave it until the week before the event, imagine the pressure of trying to find another venue at such short notice. There was no apology, instead I was informed 'it's impossible to do it" "can you not hold your event the following day?". Well no, we had already sent out the invitations. My advice would be to make sure you get something in writing when you make a booking at this venue, or better still find a different venue! Personally I most certainly won't be using them again!
