Went there to sell my shotgun that was bought from there. Genuinely only fired 12 times and was in as new condition. Offered £450. Took to another Dealer who paid £800 and then advertised it for £1095. Which I felt was a fair price. Draw your own conclusions! Personally I would go somewhere else if your looking for a fair Firearms dealer

Overall a good shop with a great selection of fishing gear and good gunroom. Took my Weihrauch HW110 air rifle in there a few weeks ago to try and sell to them with a Delta Titanium scope. The young lad offered me £200 for the lot and said that the air rifle had clearly been well used. (It hadn't, I'd put about 150 pellets through it since I'd bought it brand new for £850 12 months ago and it had been kept it my lounge ever since, not a scratch on it). I said to him the scope alone is worth £800 brand new, so the offer of £200 for the whole lot was a bit of a joke. He said that he had never heard of Delta scopes and wasn't going to look them up. A combined price of £1000 would have been a fair price. Took it to another local gunshop a couple of days later and they gave me what I was looking for so no harm done, was just very surprised at the low ball offer from Allcock's. Won't stop me from shopping there in the future as it's fantastic to have these sort of shops still going.
Dave sourced a particular firearm for me that isn't listen on their website, and also assisted in the purchase of another whilst I was there, as well as some accessories & ammo. Very knowledgeable and honest, very well priced also. Allcocks is further afield for me, and I'd previously spoken with another dealer locally to me who didn't seem interested in selling me this particular firearm, but Dave's customer care and attention to detail with my inquiry is really what won me over - they could be twice the price and three times the distance and I'd still come back to Allcocks based on the great experience with this purchase! All the other staff were friendly and helpful making the whole experience an absolute pleasure. Looking forward to my next visit! Thanks again.
I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received. I need special fitting boots which need to be shipped in from abroad. The company concerned don't sell direct to the public. The service from Allcocks was brilliant, I was kept informed of progress and despite shipping issues Ellie was dogged in her chasing things along.

My boyfriend bought me some lovely wellies from here for Xmas but unfortunately we parted and he left me and I had to get a refund and a credit note was given without question.. Lovely store, I love wellies and all outdoor clothing instead of really making an effort Probably why he left me ))
