Went for Citizens Advice. Was a nursery in main hall. Young ones were very noisy, so must have been enjoying themselves.
Enjoyed joining a really friendly session, doing upholstery, very welcoming tutor and team. Easy to find, lovely clean, bright and warm room, plenty of space to work in.
I went for an hour wellbeing workshop with Counselling Kind. The room was very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the workshop.
Went last week to see Citizens Advice and at 9.30 it was closed but should of been open. The lady from Citizens Advice phoned me to say they didnt come to open it until 10.20 so I was very disappointed and now have to drive into Bolton for advice. Not happy!!!
Visited with 2 young grandchildren for a musical playgroup. They absolutely loved it! The Centre provided lots of activities for all ages & is run by committed people.
Staff are very very helpful and informative. They go out of their way to make sure everything is right from advertising to setting up the hall before classes. They have a very good community spirit. Facilities to hire is perfect for the price we pay. Only one downfall which I have discussed with the staff, who are committed to changing it.
