   Good classes, gym equipment limited but acceptable, kids allowed in which is a bit annoying when it's busy . Women's changing rooms in desperate need of upgrade. Hooks needed on the shower doors at very least. Showers on the pool side are communal so I have go to worsley to swim so I can have a proper wash afterwards. Hopefully these will be upgraded at some point

   Definitely get a good work out here, facilities include large swimming pool, good size gym that spans two floors, badminton courts and more. Took my kid here a few times during the summer holidays and also as a younger child for swimming lessons. Fabulous.

   Go on regular basis have done for years, staff are friendly and supportive if you need info or useing equipment. Swimming pool has a good timetable so you can plan when you want to swim. Overall great to use facilities whenever you want.

   In desperate need of a refurb. Visited this morning, not a single space to park. Every double yellow and path parked on also. Gym is tiny and has limited equipment. Male changing rooms are in dire need of a refurb and deep clean. I've worked in prisons and their sanitary conditions are much better. Male toilet is disgusting and the lock on the door is broken. Showers are grim and not at all private. Staff also could not be less bothered. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place, other SCL facilities are much much better.

   The receptionist in swinton leisure centre was the most useless receptionist I have ever come across. Asking about swimming for my son she contradicted everything I was told on the phone. She only give 1 word answers with the exception of one where I asked her about the swimming schedule to which her response was she had turned off the computer so couldn't check (this was 3pm so nowhere near closing). On top of this while I was standing there waiting for her to acknowledge I was there she was saying to her colleague she had a fever - not very responsible for staff in a leisure centre full of children.

   This place is terrible A large amount of the staff are rude and ignorant and do not listen to you Avoid staff member Lea and two old women who work on the front reception : one is quite old ( mid 50s late 60s ) with a pony tale and wears glasses If you are thinking about going to the gym or take your child to swimming lessons please think otherwise as the teachers also leave mid session . Lea is a fat ginger man who is extremely rude to members in there . Overall I highly advice you to not go to this leisure centre

1. Salford Sucks ★★☆☆☆

   Anyone giving the swimming pool a good review must be visibly challenged. Dirty and disgusting. There is a thick seam of black mould right the way around the filthy showers. Salford Council - what are you playing at? Black mould is a serious health hazard. The poolside is filthy with used plasters and body hair etc. The ceiling above the pool looks as though it is about to cave in. It's stained and full of holes. The water is never warm enough. The changing rooms are dirty, smelly and cold. The staff? Hmmm. Go elsewhere.

   I went swimming here. The water tasted salty. The floor poolside and in the changing rooms is disgustingly filthy. There is a build up of black dust around the edges. There was a collection of used plasters at the edge of the pool. The toilet facilities were also in desperate need of cleaning. Good points were the free hairdryers and powerful warm showers.
