   After investing £600,000 of tax payers money, the Council has made the decision to limit access to the pool to the general public. Very few swimming sessions are available to the general public on a weekly basis. It is already impossible to book a swimming session at Leyland pool, there is discussion regarding renovation work at Chorley swimming pool, which will inevitablely close the pool for an extended period of time, at the expense of the tax payer...the gradual erosion of public facilities, funded by public money, is a failure of Chorley Council.

   The pool opened again in September 2024. They've retiled the pool and upgraded slightly inside. It's very welcoming.

   Wow the teacher Julie here is fantastic! She is really engaging but firm, but super kind and sweet to the tiny learners. The kids have been learning their stages lessons so fast. I’m really impressed

   Excellent facility, love the place despite the odd fast angry swimmer (H&S issue) & groups chatting, holding coffee mornings half way down the lanes, effectively stopping swimming. (again H&S & it’s advertised as lane swimming) A few well placed signs might help?

   Great place for swimming pool Staff excellent courtesy and care very professional a great place to take a family or to help your grand children learn to swim.You can also feed the Ducks after you come out . Chorley should be proud of Brlnscall Baths

   Always love it at Brinscall Swimming Pool been going for about 7 years made lots of friends, the Staff very friendly and always helpful in every way , pool nice and warm clean ,and nice to have a hot shower after .
