Glad to have booked a tour with James and Colin. Colin was full of knowledge and really cared about our tour group. Didn't necessarily love that it was completely full on the bus but understand from a business stand point. Thankful to have received information from Invergordon Bus Tour via email prior to the tour so we knew where to go and what to do. We saw Lochness, Invergordon, Beauly, Cawdor Castle and Gardens. We appreciated hearing Scottish music as well as the stories of history. Didn't love that we had to walk to and from the bus but.. what can you do?

I was in Costa favolosa cruise and took this excursion to Inverness, Loch Ness and Beauly and we highly recommend it. Our guide (Richard) and the driver (Stuart) were amazing.

We had a fantastic tour with Russell and Glen!!Well paced, organized and so much more affordable than the cruise excursions. Our tour took us to Beauly, Inverness and Cawdor Castle. Our family of 3 loved our trip to the Scottish Highland and the great commentary and service from the driver and guide.

Great tour! Highly recommend! We were fortunately transferred to Invergordon Bus Tour by another agency, and I’m so glad we were! Their tour was much more interesting and reasonably pricedβ€”about one-third of what the cruise line was charging for something similar. The entrance ticket to Cawdor Castle was even included, which was a great bonus The Invergordon Bus Tour office was conveniently located at the first stop of the cruise shuttleβ€”super easy to find. We had a fantastic tour with our guide, Colllllllin, and our driver, Hamish. Colin made the experience truly enjoyableβ€”he taught us some Gaelic, shared lots of funny stories and jokes, and kept us entertained throughout the journey. Despite the less-than-perfect weather, the tour was well-organized and ran smoothly. Colin adjusted the schedule to ensure we got back to our cruise on time, and his storytelling between stops made the travel time fly by. If you want to see Nessieβ€”or even watch a video of her swimming in Loch Nessβ€”just ask Colin. He’ll make it happen!

Great tour! Highly recommend! We booked thru the operator's website not the cruise line. Cost was 1/3 of what cruise line was charging for a similar tour! Invergordon Bus Tour operator office location was right outside port gate. Duncan (head of operations) checked us in & got us squared away with details about the day. We met our lovely tour guide Allie & our motorcoach driver, Hamish. The motorcoach is very nice. (It doesn't have bathroom facilities though so use the toilets at the port before.) We stopped briefly in a small town of Beauly to stretch our legs & a bathroom break on our way to Loch Ness. Before venturing onto Inverness & Cawdor Castle we stopped for a picture at Loch Ness (no Nessie sightings) & a stop to see some highland "coos" . Inverness was pretty (for what we were able to see in the short time we were there.) Cawdor Castle has beautiful gardens & the history is very interesting too. A+ job to Hamish 's driving into the very narrow estate gate that was originally made for horse drawn carriages! Allie is quite knowledgeable about the local area lore and history of Scotland. She even sang us a few Scottish folk songs. Hamish is a funny character & great driver. We arrived back to the port terminal in plenty of time to look around the little port town & get back onboard our ship. Definitely would book again with them!

We took Tour number 3 from the cruise terminal and I could not have been happier with the trip we took with Lorraine & Titch. On leaving Invergordon we drove along the Cromarty Firth, through Dingwall and stopped for the Beauly Priory ruins. We visited Loch Ness including the Loch Ness exhibition centre before some free time in Inverness itself. This is fantastic scenary and is Scotland at it's finest. This tour is well worth the money as you get to see some fantastic sights, hear the history about the Loch Ness monster and stop to "look" for Nessie yourself! Lorraine & Titch were excellent hosts and I would happily take a tour with Invergordon Bus Tours if ever in the area again.

On May 16, 2022 we arrived in Invergordon on the MSC Magnifica ship, we already booked the tour with Invergordon Bus Tours from home via the Internet, the tour price of Β£64.50 was about €30 cheaper than the tour offered by the ship and about 1 hour longer. The sales stand and our meeting point are located directly at the port exit and cannot be missed. The staff is extremely friendly: we were driven to our coach with a shuttle bus. After "Corona" and the "bubble practice" practiced by the cruise ships, the season for local providers is only just starting again. Since only we (3 people) had booked the tour, we feared that the tour would be shortened or even canceled altogether. That was not the case at all. Our tour guide George got on the shuttle bus. George - a giant of a man - in typical Scottish costume could star in any historical film. The fact that the tour will be in English was already known at the time of booking and can be found on the Internet. George made the greatest effort to speak slowly and clearly, so that the vast majority of us (little English speakers) were understood. The coach for 47 passengers was only on the road for us. As announced, the tour lasted from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. - all destinations were visited. George provided us with a lot of information. If we ever come back to this part of Scotland we will definitely be booking with Invergordon Bus Tours again! We can only say "Thank you - that was GREAT"

18/05/2022 - Bus Tour 3 - 1 adult + 1 child = Β£100 You are greeted right away at the cruise terminal, the staff are very friendly but only speak English. A shuttle bus takes you to the actual bus, it is a long-distance bus that was very comfortable. The tour guide tells interesting things all the time, but unfortunately only in English. 1. Place Beauly - quite small and there is hardly anything to see, 1x look at old stones and that's it, you have to look for the toilet yourself if necessary 2. Location Loch Ness Experience Center The entrance fee is included - watch 6x videos and then exit through the souvenir shop. The time was up. Tourist rip off. 3rd location photo stop at Loch Ness - large lake, beautiful, but nothing more 4. Location Inverness - you are dropped off and then have a little over an hour Then it's back to Invergordon, this time being dropped off at the 'Shopping Street'. Walk about 5 minutes to the ship. Instead of Beauly I would have preferred to visit Urquarht Castle, at least from the outside, the castle wasn't even mentioned although I find it very important. The promised whiskey tasting was canceled altogether. When asked, the reason came: Corona In my eyes the tour wasn't worth Β£100. Unfortunately there are hardly any alternatives, Aida excursions are even more expensive, rental cars were not available for me, but I would recommend them more. If you still decide to use Invergordon Bus Tours, you can also buy the tickets on site. At the port there is a sales trailer with an inscription. Oh, I thought I could at least keep the lanyard with the print as a souvenir, but nothing there. All guests had to give it back during the last stage :(
