I had a wonderful experience learning how to swim with SwimNow! My instructor Neve was super friendly, kind, and patient - she constantly encouraged me throughout the whole duration of the course, and I always felt safe and happy to attend my lessons! I would 100% recommend SwimNow :)

Marghe is a fabulous teacher and by the end of my lessons she became a great friend. Super supportive and patient. The Hilton was a great venue for the lessons as well!

My instructor Esther was amazing and made me fall in love with swimming. I was a beginner but in 12x30 minute lessons, I feel so much more confident. The only issue is that it is really really hard to reschedule on short notice and you end up losing the money for that class. If you have issues that might affect attendance (disability, childcare) please consider whether you can fully commit to exact dates and times before paying.

I enquired about learning to deal with swimming in deep water and booked a trial lesson on that basis. When I showed up the pool was only 1.25m deep and my instructor started trying to teach me the basics of learning to put my face in the water, floating, kicking etc. When she realised I could swim and that was not what I needed the lesson for she improvised so that my money and time wasn't completely wasted. It should have been made clear to me before paying for and booking the lesson that none of the Swimnow pools are suitable for the kinds of lessons I need. I gave them this feedback and have been refused even a partial refund. The instructor was lovely but the rest of the team are much less helpful.

Our swimming instructor is called Brendan and he has been a tremendous help in supporting myself and my partner to gain our confidence in the water. I was swimming on my back (arms by my side) without a float towards the end of the first session! That was a MASSIVE achievement for me and the encouragement I received from Brendan I believed helped me to do this considering I have a fear of water! My humble and honest advice (coming someone who thought no instructor could teach me how to swim and have the patience due to my fear of water), is to book with swim now and if the other instructor’s are anything like Brendan then you will not regret it.

My son (9-year-old) has done three lessons with Brendan, at Manchester Hilton Hotel. I have been invited to write a review about the coach and facility. My son had completely 50 private lessons at other places prior to learning with Brendan. However, he was still called for swimming development at his school. Meanwhile, he was also the slowest in his swim group. He was able to swim but really needed some corrections for his body movement. Before each lesson, I discussed with Brendan through a quick text message about our lesson plan and what area we wanted to improve and focus on. I think such communication is important for every private lesson. Brendan also asked us about our ultimate goal at the beginning of the first lesson, so he had our goal in his mind and could try his best to help my son achieve that goal. My son was not really into any sports so it would take him longer to digest new knowledge about swimming. However, I was so glad that Brendan used some very simple but efficient ways to instruct my son. I could definitely see his improvement after the first lesson and then the second and third lessons. He is now definitely not the slowest person in his group. I really appreciate Brendan’s help and hope my son can continue to make progress with him. The venue is also good: water is warm enough; quiet; clean.

I have been learning to improve my front crawl with Emmie. She is a great teacher, very friendly, she listened to what I want to achieve and helped me a lot! She corrected where I was doing wrong which I never realised! We worked on my strokes, arms kicks body positions and tumble turns and a lot of other stuff. I definitely improved a lot.I am so glad I took these lessons it’s definitely worth it!

I recently completed a block of 6 hr sessions with Emmie and she's been wonderful. She's a pateint teacher and pushes you to do better, while giving great pointers. I went from not able to float (let alone swim) to swimming a full length (front crawl and back stroke). She definitely instilled me with confidence and made me feel more comfortable being in the water. Thanks to her, I am able to swim by myself, which is something I did not think I could do. I would definitely recommend her.

My experience with Swim Now has and continues to be fantastic. I was quite nervous and stressed out to begin with but my instructor - Emmie Rose - knew exactly what to do and say to get me relaxed and engaged. She is patient , attentive and fun! I enjoy her company and the lessons in equal measure. I might never quite make it to the Olympics - age is not on my side! - but I will definitely be a much better swimmer as I learn something new each lesson. Thank you ER !
