I used the Lidl for a weekly shop and was impressed by the range of basics at very competitive prices. Fresh produce was good value and items were well labelled. The store was clean and the queues moved reasonably quickly. Parking was convenient for a supermarket run. Great for cost-conscious grocery shopping in Uxbridge.

The 'limited' section of the shop can have some really exotic bargains. It's middle aisle has some unusual products. They have a very good bakery. I'm not sure how you'd go about doing a full shop there, though...what with it being in the middle of the chimes shopping centre!
It's the place to go if you want to be frugal, (most of us are forced to be, especially now) but imo obviously not as cheap as they used to be.. Then again.. Who is now? This store is inside the chimes shopping centre. Quite a big store, I like their bakery section.
Love this store. Always very helpful staff even though they are extremely busy there. I appreciate them doing everything they can to stock up the items. I always shop there or in Cowley. It's good to have Lidl in the town centre
Every single morning when I come to this Lidl, there is never any bakery, especially croissants. They only ever have plain bread that even ducks cannot eat. Trying to find a croissant at this horrible Lidl inside Uxbridge shopping centre, is like trying to find The Watcher at 657 Boulevard - it is impossible. Now I have one of three theories: 1) The staff are eating them at the back while making them, 2) There must be a high population of French people in Uxbridge, and 3) They don’t bother making croissants daily and are a lazy store overall. This has impacted me both physically and mentally, as I heavily rely on croissants to be my source of fuel to power through the mornings at work. Lidl’s motto is “Big on quality, Lidl on price”. However, for this little Lidl inside Uxbridge it seems to be “Big on breads, Lidl on croissants”. If I could give -5 stars, I would.
EDIT 17/11/2022 12:30PM and still nothing left in the bakery section.Customers walki in and walk out. It is impossible to buy a bread or any other bakery items from the fresh bakery section.I have been coming every day for the past week in hope that there will be something left but at 12pm there is literally nothing.I have never seen the items being replenished throughout the day like in other shops.I think this might be due to management as the Lidl in Cowley Road have the bakery section well stocked any time I go.
