I'm a frequent goer at Everybody Wilmslow and whilst I think the gym's fine, I find the staff - particularly the young ones to have no social etiquette. They don't make an effort to greet you, instead most the time are talking all together and simply glance up then back down as you walk in. I think this is a crucial aspect that is sadly declining in today's society - especially for a gym that wants to have a sense of community.

The leisure centre is generally very dated. The changing rooms and toilets really could do with a deep clean and revamp. For the price you pay for your membership, you would expect a better level of cleanliness. The gym has some good equipment, but the main problem is the scores of unsupervised kids hogging equipment and in some cases acting in an unsafe manner. I recommend using the gym first thing in the morning or during school hours to avoid this. The online booking system on the app for the sports courts is a bit of a joke. You select a specific court number only to turn up and find it's not set up for your sport, or there are people using the court you booked. The only advice the staff can give is "just use whichever court has been set up for your sport..." Ok, but what happens when someone else arrives who's booked the court you've had to move on to? The app shouldn't specify a court number if you don't necessarily get to use the court number you request. The centre has the potential to be a great facility but it seems as though it's generally been neglected over the years.

3 stars for the gym - the best in the everybody range imo. But the place is filthy - the gym, toilets off reception, 3 different showers/changing rms I've used. No way they can say these are cleaned daily or even deep cleaned regularly. I've been looking at the same filth for months.

My husband and I have been members for over a year. He tends to use the gym which has been recently been refurbished and extended and I typically go to classes. As far as the gym goes itβs huge and superbly equipped and even when it gets busier at the weekend, thereβs always plenty of equipment to use and advice on hand. I love the variety of classes and number of classes. The booking system is easy to use online and you can book a week ahead. The variety of classes and friendliness and experience of the majority of the instructors is excellent. I donβt think Iβve ever had a class cancelled if an instructor has unexpectedly been ill, for example. Theyβve always seem to cover things. I canβt comment on the changing rooms or pool as we never use those. Parking is free for gym members and you can use any of the other everybody gyms once you become a member, except for Alderley Park which has a higher rating. In short, itβs an absolutely brilliant leisure centre and great value for money. Itβs very convenient in terms of location. The only downsides are that parking can be especially busy on weekends when there are often things going on in the main hall and that for my particular interest, I could do with more Pilates classes, as the classes of around 30 literally tend to get booked up within a couple of hours of the class being released a week ahead.

The Cardiac Rehab was again led by our very capable instructor. We were 10 in number (in for appx. 40 mins) and a few of the general public. Even though younger equipment than some sports centres there is still not enough variation of equipment or space. Some people 'wipe down' equipment they have used but Not everyone. I have not come across the lavatorys on this upper floor.

Nothing to be impressed about. Website has information from.....2020 !!. Changing rooms are roasting most of the time , so you're immediately uncomfortable when you arrive , and you're sweating AFTER you've had a shower ........and inconsiderate people are coming straight from the pool / shower and dripping everywhere......so people go to put their socks on , and get them wet because there is no dry space anywhere. The lockers are tiny....no room for a coat and gym bag. Various rooms are tired , and the place on the whole has a boring , un-inspiring feel. The whole centre basically needs a makeover , or at the least , a deep clean and re-painting. It has potential, but needs attention.

Good facilities and good pools. The only real downside is there's no family changing and the baby changing facilities are limited. The showers can be extremely hot (or extremely cold) too if you go at a busy time.

Very safe. If you go there for classes the machines and equipment is cleaned by the members when they finish using it and then again by members of the staff who come straight away after the class to moped the floors too. They all wear masks.
