   So so rude! I can’t quite believe what’s just happened.. Went in to pick a parcel up & purchase a loaf of bread. Thought I’d paid for the bread (as I had tapped my card) and then the guy on the desk went to get my parcel. I then picked up another item I wanted to purchase and asked him to put it through and noticed he had put the bread through again. I informed him I thought I’d purchased the loaf, and he immediately starting shouting at me calling me a liar and saying I hadn’t. I said that was fine I just wanted to check my bank statement as I had tapped so wanted to see if it had gone through. He then went on to completely gas light me and insist I had never tapped my card (when I had even though it hadn’t yet gone through to payment). As a 20 year old female who does not like confrontation, I said it’s fine and asked him to pop it through and I’ll pay again. He would not let it go and continued to shout at me saying “100% you never even tried to tap”- he went on for 5 minutes despite me being so polite and trying to explain what had happened (I had already paid at this point). In the end I had to walk away as he would not stop and was making me so uncomfortable. Not one to write reviews, but I’m in total shock that someone could be so misogynistic and aggressive over a loaf of bread! Despite being a local, I will never be returning to this shop.

   Disappointed. Purchased a TooGoodToGo surprise bag from this branch of Londis and found four of the seven items included expired nearly two months ago! To think produce so out of date is left on the shelf is real concern. Obviously I was expecting to receive goods expiring in the next day or so but these had to straight in the food waste - the opposite of what TooGoodToGo is designed to achieve.

   My parcel got delivered here on 05/01/2024. I went to collect it on 06/01/2024. The shop keeper scanned my code and got my details. After searching he went I cannot find your parcel. And told me to go back to the seller. I told him it was definitely delivered yesterday. To be told in a off hand manner, “I can’t find it”. So unhelpful. I only get the scanning code once the parcel is delivered. So it was definitely there. He just could not be bothered to look properly. The old owners of Londis, were more helpful and really missed. Maybe they were more organised then the new people. I will never get my parcels delivered here again. Where the owners have a I don’t care attitude.

   I used to like shopping here until a series of really bad experiences. Rude staff, out of date/mouldy stock on the shelves and a general unhelpful ness from this store make it the inferior shop to one stop.

   Sorry to say that this is one of the most HOSTILE shops I have ever had the misfortune to try to support in recent years. The woman behind the counter is the most miserable and rude person you could ever meet. And what makes it worse is she happens to be the OWNER.Shop there at your peril!!!

   Staff follow you round the shop as if your going to shoplift. Couldn't use debt card for under £5 and then would'nt accept my £20 note. I dont like there vibe. Won't go in there anymore. With this kind of service I am surprised they are still trading.
