We have always been really impressed with Swimtime Stockport. All three of my children have loved their swimming lessons with Rik at Kingfisher HC. We immediately noticed that their swimming and confidence improved compared with other swimming lessons.
Facilities aren't as good as local authority option in Poynton; Communication poor (only found out lessons were canx after girls had changed and couldn't find a teacher) and no way of tracking progress. For 2 to 1 lessons their invoicing/finance side is v confusing.. I've managed budgets of £700k and have a degree, but this system was confusing. Teacher is great, so we stuck it for a while and then moved elsewhere.
I have been so impressed with Swimtime Stockport. My little boy absolutely loves his Friday morning sessions with Chrissie and he’s responded really well to her brilliant teaching style as he is learning whilst having so much fun! It has been amazing watching my son’s progress this term, and, as I’m in the pool with my son, Chrissie has also been fantastic explaining the different ways I can support my little boy to help build his confidence and skills in the pool, something which, as an apprehensive swimmer myself, I have really appreciated. Their communication has been great, always keeping us up to date with developments too. I would highly recommend Swimtime to anyone looking for children’s swimming lessons.
Where to start! This company is such a mess, and when charging the prices they do i think its a joke. One session my Daughter and another learner swimming, where stood waiting in there full swim outfits just waiting for the instructor. After minutes of waiting, and a number of calls to Swimtime we decided to give up waiting. This lesson was at 4pm, they sent a email that night at 8pm to let us know its been cancelled (Nice of them). I was still yet to speak to someone about this issue (Only heard it was cancelled via e-mail) I had been ringing and also left messages but no one got back to me. After about 5 days trying to get in touch, i finally did. I was told the reason I didnt get a call back was because I was a angry customer and she (Women on the phone) didn't want to take my call, because i sounded wound up. I was told to wait for the owners to return from the Caribbean holiday so they can help me. I did just that waiting, for a long time. I chased again and finally the owner called John contacted me. Basically, that call didn't go well either, i was offered nothing in regards to an apology. He just said these things happen. Oh they also removed my Daughter from the next terms classes, because I complained. The worst customer service ever! Dont use this Company!!!
