    Gave the guy the correct change, which i had carefully counted, and after putting his hands behind the till he said I had not given him the right amount and demanded I give him more. It wasn’t much more he asked for, but I would avoid this place at all costs especially if paying with cash. The place next door is 100% more reliable, not sure why I chose to go here this one time

    I was watched closely from the moment I walked into the store, the guy stood directly next to me, and his eyes followed every item I picked up, back and forth with each item I took. There was no reason to suspect I was stealing, it was clear that I was profiled. It was done to make me feel uncomfortable. I have never had someone go and stand next to me and stare at each item I picked up. I was polite, didn't take long to choose, it wasn't busy and I literally walked into the aisle the guy was in before he stood next to me. I felt like a criminal from the moment I walked in. Very intentional.

    Stupid low skilled little boys on the tills, laughing at and judging Customers. The even stupider owner condones it. Bare faced ignorance and bad manners. They welcome drunks to buy their alcohol so should welcome people of all 'differences'. Be Mindful Be Kindful. The only Professional in this back street store is the older bald-headed gentleman who wears bandanas round his neck. Hard worker, experienced, polite doesn't quite realise after all these years carrying the shop that he will be far valued someplace better with the skills he has. Owner needs to train the other gophers in modern Customer Service skills.
