We often use here when in Stanmore, it has plenty of parking places, all based on a ground floor plan, easy to get around, with plenty of foodstuffs to choose from.
Terrible vegetarian ready-made microwaveable meal options. The one good option (plant pioneers no-chicken tikka meal with rice) is no longer stocked despite always being sold out - which is a shame because Sainsbury’s have a couple of decent minimally processed plant-pioneer ready to eat meals on their catalogue. The management clearly don’t understand or care about the demographic considering many Indian vegetarian families live and shop in the area.
Feel I must praise Hameed, he's always so cheerful and prepared to go the extra mile for his customers, making shopping there a really good experience. If anyone there deserves a prize for excellent customer service it's him
Not all Sainsbuy's are the same. This one is a bit more special than others. How so, you ask? Niche marketing is the answer. Garden pond fish food isn't on my daily shopping list, but when necessary,I have two choices - very expensive garden centres - or Sainsbury's,Stanmore. Same branded product, greatly different price. Sainsbury's gets top place and the goldfish love it. They also sell things for humans to enjoy - veggies, meat, fruit, bread, wine, clothes pegs, bbq charcoal, pots, pans.... just go there. You'll be glad you did. Tons of parking spaces too.
One of the most frustrating parts of shopping here is the long wait for self-checkout approval. It consistently takes around 3–5 minutes, no matter what time of day I shop — morning, afternoon, or evening. It shouldn’t take that long for something as simple as an approval, and it really slows down the whole checkout process
Excellent place to do to buy food. The place is clean and organized. All their workers are very friendly and polite.
Great stock and staff however head office needs to realize the location and needs to refurbish the store urgently to make it feel high-end.
Big supermarket but some shelves were quite empty. I did find a few items I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking available.
Alright for basic essentials, but a disappointing range of foods for the size of the supermarket. They often run out of things. Staff are usually helpful. The only reason it's still in businesses there's relatively little competition in the area.
A great place to shop for the people living around Stanmore. Sainsbury's has a vast range of food, veges, fridge freezer items, clothing etc. Self checkouts are also available within this store. Staff is friendly and helpful.
