Splash stars have worked hard to help us get our little one swimming and have done a great job! He has improved so much with their encouragement and support! Highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!
Amazing swimming school ,my son has been with splash stars for a few months now and the difference is incredible,we came from a different company and he hated swimming and was very scared ,now he looks forward to his weekly swim lessons with zoe,who is amazing Highly recomend
I'm disappointed with my experience with Splash Stars. The lessons have felt impersonal, with little effort to connect with the children or tailor instruction to individual needs. It feels very "one-size-fits-all," my son was placed in a class with children who were clearly more advanced and had been swimming for some time, which made it difficult for him to keep up and benefit from the lesson. As a parent, l expected a more thoughtful placement process and better attention to individual skill levels. What really upset me was having a scheduled lesson moved to accommodate a private session without being contacted or informed beforehand. Finding out after arriving and undressing was frustrating and felt disrespectful of my time. Communication and customer care are just as important as the lessons themselves, and unfortunately both have been lacking.
My daughter is 4 and has been in swimming lessons with another provider for over 12months with no progression still in arm discs and messed around alot in the lessons. I moved her to Splash Stars 3 weeks ago and her instructor, Zoe has kept the whole class engaged and wanting to learn. My daughter has learnt more in these 3 weeks than 12months at her previous sessions. The classes are small, pools nice and warm and they don't use arm bands or arm discs just a pool noodle which for my daughter really helped to push her into actually swimming and learning that technique as I think she was too reliant on the arm discs and got bored hence the messing and not listening. She has gone from splashing around with arm discs on to jumping in and swimming to the other side on her own with no swimming aids on her 3rd lesson! She can't wait for her lessons! Thanks Zoe ❤️
My daughter has been going to splash stars since she turned 2 months old, now 17 months old and she’s grown in confidence, she loves her lessons which can be at different sites SS offer which is great when you need to change a time or location. We can’t wait to see her grow even more.
A fantastic swim school for all children from birth to eleven years old at any ability level. We have been attending with my son since birth and he loves it! The lessons teach practical swimming skills as well as building confidence in the water. As the parent of a child with additional needs it was critical in getting him comfortable with being submerged. They offer group sessions at a variety of times and locations to suit your needs as well as smaller sessions for children with additional needs. The teachers are knowledgeable and are very supportive, always making sure your child and you know what to work on. I can't recommend them enough!
Excellent instructors with a good range of venues and times for different grades of swimmers. My five year old daughter had been going to Splash Stars for over three years, having tried other classes/groups and companies I really do appreciate how these work. They offer a structured programme but can and do alter each class according to the child’s requirements. I like that they offer lessons for children of all abilities and needs. The real bonus is to have catch up lessons, it’s brilliant, it means you can miss a class, (due to illness/holidays etc), but rearrange for a different one at no extra charge, this make it excellent value for money and you don’t get that with the council run or any other private swimming lessons.
