   This Tesco Is very ideal because of it's close proximity to Kingston train station and the Cromwell bus station. They have the best local meal deal selection that I have found, as well as the best price (3.60 with clubcard, 4.00 without). The problem with this Tesco is that it is very cramped and gets very busy. Fortunately they have some self checkout tills which is ideal because of how cramped it is and the fact that even with the self checkout tills there is always a decent sized queue for the human checkout, and I can see why. As whenever you try buying age restricted products here it usually takes them a good amount of time to come and approve you. The small bakery section is good but has a few issues. There is often no paper bags there to put your baked goods in so you either have to ask someone or just not bother. And also the tongs which you use to pickup the baked goods doesn't extend long enough to reach the goods on the left hand side.

   The security guard(black) was so freaking racist. Me and my friend(asian) were together and was laughing&talking while shopping, and we got stared by him more than 20 times(he was literally chasing sfter us aisle by aisle) and after we bought it(he saw us paying) we exited but came back in bc we forgot smth to buy, and he literally approached us saying y did u come back u two are laughing and talking so we said wuts the problem of laughing and he gave THE BIGGEST SIDEYE and followed us around the whole shop. They should literally stop being racist. Hes black himself

   Please stop blocking the gluten free area every evening. It was blocked before and after I went to the cinema, before and after I went to the gym etc. I just wanted some bread that wouldn't kill me!

   Rude staff and poor customer service. Was told off for using my own bag at the checkouts because apparently "it won't work". Also, never buy meal deal items that require cutlery, as they never have any. You'll have to walk somewhere else to get it.

   Why are the deliveries always coming around midday or 1pm? This store opens at 6am and deals with a high number of commuters and students.. so why are there no sandwiches, pasta, proper drinks or fruit until midday? Something needs to be done about this. The new younger security guard (guy with messy beard and hair) is so disrespectful and I assume sextist. He's barged me, been very verbally aggressive and even ran over my foot with the floor cleaner while refusing to say excuse me. I've lived above this store for 3 years and never met some as disrespectful as him in this store. The shop is falling apart with the exception of a few staff members.    Got to the store today 20th May 2022 at 10:55pm, and was told by security guard and duty manager Jawad that the store is closed. Despite there being 5 minutes left of trading, they refused entry. When I challenged why entry is being refused, Jawad explained that there are too many customers inside. Other customers also wanted to enter the store all of us were told the store is closed and refused entry. We all protested and then were allowed entry. The duty manager unashamedly said it was store policy for this store. A culture of poor management and leadership has led to these behaviours. I asked for the store managers name and Jawad was reluctant. The store manager needs to wake up and see how his followers have created unofficial store policies to benefit staff at the detriment of poor customer service.
