Great leisure centre with a big sports hall. Went to a model railway exhibition there which was excellent. The catering at the centre leaves a lot to be desired. I purchased two cheese burgers which were cold. The bun had been frozen and thawed out and was very cold in places the burger was just about warm and the cheese was not even melted. Not impressed with the standard of the food being served.

Amy was absolutely fantastic from start to finish . I rang up a day prior to book badminton 6-7 on Thursday and she took ownership from minute one . When we got there she was really accommodating and answered all the questions to make us feel at ease was polite and professional

I visit here regularly. Itβs got great facilities which are much needed in the area. However, even though itβs not dirty, I feel it could still be more maintained with its cleanliness. When in the gym I see layers of dust, changing rooms had litter, the upstairs toilets need a thorough clean. Depending on which staff member is available, you will either get excellent customer service, or a face that looks like they would be more interested in watching paint dry than actually working But overall a good place.

This "leisure centre" destroyed my sister's swimming confidence. She was in Stage 5 when we had to transfer her here from Howe Bridge because they had no available convenient time slots at the time. The instructors here were rude, incompetent and disorganised and she kept coming out of the pool crying, complaining of their discouraging shouting. Also, nobody there seems to care about the official Learn2swim swimming lesson scheme, as for an unknown reason they said they were putting my sister back in Stage 4. We are back at Howe Bridge now and she is still in Stage 5, but is not the swimmer she used to be. She still comes out of the pool crying pretty much every week and keeps saying she wants to quit swimming lessons. I would not return to this leisure centre afterwards, even for a casual swim.

Was here for a karate comp. Guess due to place restriction comp was organised on ground and first floor- super chaotic and announcements were not audible- you need to keep checking. The location is very good -easy access to motorway, and there is Morrisons just round the corner, to get snacks and stuff. Leisure centre staff very professional and friendly.

Very reasonably priced entry but short and set sessions. Clean and pleasant facilities. Nothing to complain about. Staff always happy to help
