   Attend the gym and classes on a regular basis. Equipment is more than adequate and people are always lovely. The staff even ‘rescued’ a couple of flasks I’d left in the football pitches and kept them until I was next it. Very much appreciated it.

   The gym is abysmal. It’s majority cardio related machines that hardly get used meanwhile the free weights and machines are nearly always either so busy your there 20 minute to use a machine / bench or it is broken

   Great visit to Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub Friendly reception staff who made me feel welcome from the start. The pool was spotless, as were the changing areas, and both the sauna and steam room — though small — were at the perfect temperature and nice and quiet. Clearly picked the right time to go! Best of all, there was even a locker big enough for my motorcycle helmet — a first for me on my travels. A really well-run and relaxing facility.

   First time I’ve used the Livewire site here since it’s refurb. Gym was ok but no abdominal crunch machine, which is at all the other Livewire sites? The unisex changing rooms at this site are a positive imo - though others may disagree. Only three shower cubicles in the wet changing area though, which is not enough as people were waiting for them when I was there on a weekday mid morning. The sauna & steam rooms are the smallest in any of the 5 main Livewire sites. I was told by another user that these were an afterthought after the ‘Garden Spa’ didn’t take off? The ‘cold’ shower in the Sauna & Steam area was great as it isn’t as cold as it is at other LW sites so not as much of a shock to the system!

   I go to great sankey school and the staff are just horrible towards the students. In winter they made us stand out in the cold and didn't let us come in for any reason. They also don't let us use the toilet after school and make us wait for everyone to leave the toilet (one person). The problem is that half of the time there is no one even in the toilet. I don't recommend going there as the service is very bad. They need to change how the do it.

   First time using the hub in April 2022. Took my 5 and 10yr old swimming. The small pool was lovely and warm, the main pool not too bad! Changing areas are communal with different sized cubicals for different family sizes. Lockers are £1 with is refunded after use. Parking free. Lovely place to visit.
