   This was excellent! I’ve never done an escape room before but was invited by family and I had the best time! We did the Lodge and we escaped with 6 minutes to go. There were a couple of clues my family said (very generously) that they couldn’t have done without me. The room was so creepy and convincing. I really had a fab time. Would love to go back. Thanks for a great experience.

   Great escape rooms. We did the Valhalla and Lodge rooms and they were both very immersive and incredibly nicely decorated. The puzzles are varied and challenging but not too difficult. The gamemasters are enthusiastic and friendly. Would highly recommend!

   The best escape room experience in the North West! We've done all 4 physical rooms but haven't tried the VR - yet! The rooms are all challenging and have the potential to break you. But you feel like the messiah when you crack it! Awesome staff too.

   I won a VR experience game for 2. My partner and I decided to play Huxley. We won with 29 minutes remaining. It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it for couples, friends or even children with adult supervision. The game was so realistic and the puzzles were planned out really well. Our game master was amazing. He was very bubbly, friendly, welcoming and super helpful with a great sense of humour. If you haven't had a chance to go and experience the escape rooms or have an experience using the VR's, I would highly recommend if you have an hour spare, book online and go and experience for yourself. Thanks for a great experience as always! We will be back!

   Had the absolute best time, most fun I've had in ages and well worth the money. We did The Lodge and got really close to escaping but the puzzles are challenging, but that's a good thing. Our game host Sophie was fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. Honestly couldn't recommend it enough, our first escape room but definitely won't be our last. Will be coming back to try the Institution!

   The best escape room I’ve been to… it’s clean, the clues are interesting and new to me, the furnishings and clues are quality and everything works as it should… great staff too and the added bonus of a car park right behind! Worth the trip down from Preston. I’ll be back…

   We tried the Ministry room and it was absolutely brilliant. We've done quite a lot of escape rooms but this one has jumped straight to the top. Great interactive room with things we've never seen in other rooms. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to try the other rooms. Our host Pete was great too and the place itself its fantastic.

   First time trying an escape rooms. Absolutely brilliant. The details and mastermind that's gone into the game rooms is very clever. As an adult.. It opened my inner child, opened up my game head and definitely opened up my thinking cap. Think I took it a bit too serious because I didn't want to lose!!!! Would highly recommend! Will be returning soon!

   We've played all 4 of the games at Lockdown now and they're all excellent! Pete is a great host and you can tell that so much passion and time has gone into creating the rooms. The theming is spot on in all of the rooms and none of the puzzles seem out of place. The only negative I can think of is that we've played all the rooms, so won't be going back anytime soon. A great time to be had in a group of 2 or larger and definitely worth checking out, whether you're a first timer, or an experienced escapist.

   It was great fun for everyone ranging from adults to teens. Very friendly staff and overall a wonderful time. Would definitely go again. The institution had no jump scares so is a great option for those hesitate to go due to fear. They also let u leave the room at anytime to take a breather or to go the toilet. We had a great host called Rae.
