The Indian man with prescription glasses at the tills was very pleasant and respectful, thank you for your professionalism. The other man, EU or Arab in the red T-shirt and black gilet was awful. As soon as I entered and began browsing he started following me to every aisle and whistles and clearing his throat also stamping his feet as if to let me know he is there because not once did I acknowledge his presence except, when I said sorry to him for him bumping into me because he was just a nuisance in those very narrow aisles. Wandering about holding some sort of small product in his hand acting as if he is looking for where it goes. This was even more ridiculous when I got home and found out that I had been OVERCHARGED by £1.60. They are not honouring prices in the products stamped by the manufacturer. There is a big yellow circle with red writing of the price, however when it goes through the tills, it is pricing up to what the shop owner has put on his data. This is a BREECH of TRADING STANDARDS laws. You are busy thinking customers are stealing when it is YOU who is stealing from customers.

My visit was primarily aimed at purchasing watermelon, a fruit I deeply love and enjoy. However, upon reaching home and taking the first bite, I immediately realized that the fruit was expired. The watermelon, which I had eagerly anticipated, tasted highly unpleasant, signaling poor storage or negligence on the store's part. The incident raises a concern about the overall freshness of the products offered by this establishment. After all, selling expired produce is not only a poor business practice, but it also poses health risks to customers. Additionally, I found the prices at THIS STORE to be excessively high. It seems that customers are not receiving value for their money. The combination of steep prices and poor quality produce is a significant deterrent to return for future shopping trips. I'd like to recommend an alternative - Hyper Iranian Store. I have found their products to be fresh and of high quality, giving more satisfying taste experiences. Additionally, their prices are comparatively more affordable, making it an excellent choice for daily or weekly shopping needs.

RIdiculously rude staff. I have never been treated in such an insulting way. I bought some meat and veg and eggs, and then I saw they also have paypoint, so I asked whether they would accept the payment as well. The lady told me 'she has customers to attend to', and I have to wait. Apparently, I am not a customer despite buying things a second ago. I waited for some time and - surprise! - she refuses to serve me again, saying 'she has customers.' If they don't learn to respect their customers, there's no point in shopping at their place. There are plenty of other shops around. Avoid at all costs - who knows, maybe you won't be judged 'a customer' either.

Nice family-run local store with fresh fruit & veg, cheeses, breads (a lot of stuff from Turkey), and butchers as well as the usual mini-market items. Open till late and usually open on most public holidays too. Friendly and helpful staff.

This is a great store and they have all the items you may need day or night. Fruit and veg selection is very good and very low prices for such freshness. The staff are always helpful and very fast at the counter, always willing to help the item you may be looking for. They are open very late too which is helpful for those that may need to buy items late at night or need some medications for a sick child.
