    Absolutely awful experience at Aldi Cheam. I had just moved to the area and went shopping there, completely unaware of their confusing private parking system. Despite being a paying customer with a valid receipt, I still received a parking fine! The signs are unclear, there was no warning, and the whole situation feels like a trap for genuine customers. For a supermarket that should be welcoming people to shop, this is extremely disappointing. I’ll be avoiding this store and warning others to be careful — shop here and you might get fined for simply parking while you buy your groceries. I will never go back again. I live next-door to it Shameeeee

    As so many people have said, the parking situation is just one huge scam. Also, bonus scam: For all their 'reduced' products, you actually have to get a staff member to come and enter in the reduction at the self service checkout for you. I bet so many people don't notice this and just scan the product and then pay full price. That's Aldi done for me (not just this chain but all chains), thank you.

    We did a weekly shop and got a parking fine for our custom. I won't be treated like that as a customer and will not go back to Aldi again. In the opinions of many, ParkingEye is a disgraceful company - read the reviews online.

    I'd ignore all the 1 star reviews from people complaining about parking fines..... The signage is clear enough and I've managed to get my parking fines rescinded easily - this has happened a few times when I've done a massive shop that I didn't complete within the 1.5 hours. If I could make one recommendation, it would be to increase the parking time to 2 hours.... It's in no way a scam, but the system could be better implemented and pick a different partner than Parking Eye - they are ghouls. Now that that is out of the way, I'm rating it a solid 5 stars.... I get twice as many groceries, including quality fresh meat, veg, beer and wine, when compared to Waitrose or Sainsbury's. I reckon I save thousands each year. Clean, efficient, well laid out, friendly and helpful staff and good selection of products coupled with the value makes it very easy to recommend.

    I have only given one star as our visit to this shop ended in a fine. There seams to be an on going trend here, a small sign at the entrance that you miss driving in, then small signs not all around the parking making it hard to see, (went back to see)then key in your reg and a week later you get a fine. This is absolute discussing on behalf of ALDI making your shop now a no go zone, I will not shop here again and will tell my friends not to either. £70 for 29 minute shop. The ticket is a bit much to charge your shoppers, through PARKINGEYE,

    Not the biggest Aldi I have visited. If you don't mind using self checkouts you can be in and out within 25 mins which is a positive. There are parking restrictions and you will need to remember to register your car registration b4 you leave or risk a fine.

    WARNING! If you use their car park you must now enter you car registration number on a terminal inside the store. These are located on the back shelf and very easy to miss or overlook if in a hurry. I almost did and luckily it was pointed out to me by my partner before leaving. There was NOTHING to pre warn customers of this. Disgusted with Aldi to say the least.

    Well stocked.Good selections. Be aware new CAR PARK MACHINE! you have to enter reg number to park or could get a fine. Its not advertised on entry and easily missed as only couple machines at rear of checkouts you'd walk past not notice if busy loading/carrying shopping.

    My 1st visit and almost certainly my last. I did a full weeks shopping (£96) but it wasn't until I got to the checkout that I realised they are all self service. I had too much shopping to balance on the bagging area and every time something fell or moved I had to wait for assistance. I'll be back to Lidl next week
