An excellent choice of kosher produce including pre-cooked or prepared snacks and meals. A nicely laid out shop which is enticing to go around and shop!
I ordered a poke bowl, I don't know if it will taste good but it doesn't look appealing. Looks like dog food.This is my order. I was expexting the rice mixed in the sauce on the bottom of the bowl then avocado, lettuce salmon etc.nicely presented on the top and tempura Crunch spreaded all over. I am not a professional chief but I would never serve something looking like this bowl to someone. I checked if it was really my order and the employe offered to add more tempura Crunch on the top. I declined because I had wait for long for my order and it will not change the aspect of it. So disappointed.
The appetisers are big portions But the food was tasteless. I ordered jalapeño filled with tuna and salmon dumplings that were tasteless and very fishy.

Usually I enjoy going to this shop, but last night I had a bad experience which has prompted me to write this review. Last Sunday I purchased some Egg Mayonnaise (along with other items) to break the fast. The carton was dated 12/10/22. When opened it was both overly salty and fizzy. Due to not living locally and the shop being closed over the festivals, I returned this. I was asked for proof of purchase and then told as it was purchased 10 days ago they would not give a refund. I explained the item was still in date and was off, I did not live locally to just pop in and return it.I felt like I was being treated like a criminal for the sake of £2.75 and mentioned how terrible this customer service was. The man on the till did finally provide a refund. I would also mention that some of items in the fridge were past their sell by date and I have also purchased out of date items from here before. I would suggest some training for staff about the law for returning product that was off whilst still in date and maybe a more customer friendly approach, rather than assuming everyone is a fraud. There are other shops in Hendon who sell the same things at the same price, so best to show your appreciation of customers or risk losing them.
An excellent supermarket with a huge selection of products, prepared food, frozen meals, fresh fruits and vegetables, pastries, bread, cleaning supplies. Plenty of sweets, and more. I especially liked the products sold from Israel. The prices are low, and everything is of good quality
Pricey but great selection. Kosher items you don't find elsewhere and treats you wouldn't find in a non kosher shop. They have good promotions if you're open to changing your shopping list. Some of their vegetarian items are 2x the price of non kosher shops, so be wary of prices. Large selection of kosher wine. Generally a good shopping trip if you need kosher food.
