staff are lazy, they are uninterested and unwilling to help.. with the exceptions w the staff on door always greet me everytime i came and go.
On April 6th, 2025, I fell inside this store and got a big bruise on my elbow. The reason I fell was because the floor was extremely dirty and I slipped and fell. My clothes were also dirty and it was the worst day ever, but the male security guard told me that it couldn't be helped as the customers in this store were of a low standard and it wasn't the store's fault, and the staff didn't say anything either. I was very surprised. I have never been to this store since. I can't believe that the floor is so dirty in this small store, which always has more than five employees. I hope you get shoplifted a lot.
Ive been shopping here for the past 5-6 years. Management needs to do something about the smell in this store.I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that feels this way…please do something about this :)
I literally live 10m away from this shop, and go there daily. At last, something ironic happened when buying paracetamol. I was asked for ID despite the staff clearly agreeing with me I looked older than 16. For the chap that ID’ed me, I hope you know there’s no legal age to buy paracetamol. Challenge 25 is a retailer policy (not a law) meaning that age-restricted items may not be sold to anyone who appears under 25 - paracetamol not pertaining to this category. It is simply “responsible retailer policy” to make sure the buyer is above 16, which you agreed on. I understand a power trip feels nice, the possibility of denying a sale to someone, but be careful you don’t fall from your high horse. Please use common sense next time, otherwise that defeats the intent of the rule itself
I found the shop a bit dark. For me not enough natural light.
Most of the staff are very helpful but the store is let down by one particular so called security guard he's extremely rude arrogant no personality what so ever and no people skills unfortunately he let's the whole store down
Mixed feelings before. But now they've stopped stocking grape juice... I dislike. I'm lucky if my apples are fresh these days. This no use by date thing, with poor rotation of fresh produce... major, dislike
