Can't fault the staff or the service in this chemist. Also the pharmacist is a very polite gentleman. Everyone has always been very polite and helpful.
My wife was advised to visit a pharmacy by GP so she came to this one which is her usual pharmacy for prescription. She asked to see the pharmacist and while waiting could overhear them talking, the pharmacist was saying "what's up with her" and the complaining about people just walking in and asking to see the pharmacist and saying that they should be charging people money to see the pharmacist. Clearly this pharmacist isn't up to date on the pharmacy first schemes and is a let down to this business. They were nice as pie to her face though.
We couldn't get into the doctors and my daughter had a nasty case of tonsillitis so they referred us to the pharmacist at Castleford Pharmacy. Fayaz (Phamarcist) called us within the 2hr call back window and saw us later on in the day. He was great with my daughter and able to prescribe the medication required.
Excellent service and friendly / helpful staff. Good stocks, and smart/quick ordering when shortages advised. Often able to source tricky to get items that other pharmacies can't get. Used for a long time for this reason, and the late opening (with bank hatch) which was great during covid. Since the move, and due to earlier closing, I've not been able to use as much.
Welcoming, polite, friendly and accommodating staff. Good to know, the team at cohen's are maintaining the highest level of professional standards, for others to follow.
Excellent service from day one,wish some other chemists would follow there lead.
Excellent this chemist has intervened on my behalf when the doctors did not understand a simple request. The girls have emailed the medicine team in the doctors practice so they can talk to someone and explain what is needed. This is well above what they needed to do and is much appreciated. I just hope they get more sense out of the doctors practice than I did. Thanks for a great service. Alan
I can't believe a chemist can be closed from Christmas eve until January 4th. I had no warning that this would be the case when I picked up my last repeat dispensing at the end of November. I am now going to be without an essential medication for a week. Happy New year Cohens. I might have to consider taking my business elsewhere which will be a shame as most of the staff are lovely.
I can't praise the staff enough always happy to help I wouldn't go anywhere else for mine and my family's medication I also have it sent here.. they are all amazing absolutely fantastic service xx
Popped in today to collect some outstanding medication. The shop itself is not open. Entry is through the back door, then you are served in the little room, normally reserved for drug addicts taking their methedone. There were 2 people on seats waiting for something, someone getting served & me. Social distancing not really happening! I asked the young female assistant if I could collect next months repeat dispensing. NO. not sorry or an explanation, just NO. Clearly she didn't want to be here. Well I've got news for you love, I certainly don't. Whilst I was there, at least 3 addicts came in and out again. They were more worried about police outside. Thanks Cohens for making your customers feel welcome. NOT
