Amazing venue! We hired for our dance school show & the whole process from booking to the final performance was seamless. Could not recommend more highly. The facilities are outstanding and have everything you could need and so much space. We have already re-booked for next year!
The Palace ballroom and function room is an exceptional, family run complex, in the heart of the Hindley community. They work tirelessly to provide an extensive range of dance classes, workshops and social events that appeal to all ages. For all things dance in the Wigan area, Hurst's is definitely the place! The rooms are light, spacious and impeccably maintained by Phil, Catherine and their team. Equipped with excellent sound and lighting systems, these rooms are also available for hire and are perfect for parties, meetings and a wide range of other events - definitely worth checking out if you need a central, secure and inviting venue for your event!
Had my daughter’s christening here last Sunday, and I couldn’t have been more pleased with the entire experience. From the very beginning, Phil was incredibly helpful and attentive to our every need. His staff, who were also part of his family, were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout the event. The room was beautifully decorated and presented, and the guests were thoroughly impressed. One of the things that stood out to me was the Palace Ballroom’s unique ability to use both the sound and light systems. This allowed us to create a truly special ambiance for our event. We want to express our deepest gratitude for hosting our event. We will definitely be returning if we have any more events in the future. Thank you so much! ☺️
Had a great event hear. Great place to hire out. We had live music and plenty of space for a dance floor. Staff are brill and drinks are well priced. Highly recommend booking this venue
Fantastic venue for a children's party. Huge floor space for dancing, games, roller skating and plenty of seating with tables. There is a stage for an entertainer/band and disco lighting. The toilets are clean and accessible for all. A really great place for kids to run around safely and have fun. Really friendly staff, very helpful and accommodating. The hall is also very safe for kids use as all external doors are code operated.
The best place to dance and socialize. Very friendly. Phil a great teacher. All dances taught. Young and not so young welcomed with open arms.
Had my daughters 5th birthday here it was perfect massive room we had two big buffet tables a big dance area and a big bouncy castle the kids had a fab time and just a whip round with a bin bag and it was all cleard away and home to a tidie house.
Fantastic dance studio. Phill and Kathryn work so hard and it shows! Lots of different classes for adults as well as children. Would highly recommend. Warm and friendly
Fantastic function room run by a great team. Super sound system and atmospheric lighting all add to the ambiance. Reasonably priced drinks too and for a small bar they have plenty of variety. I've attended a few party nights at The Palace Ballroom and always had a wonderful time.
