Excellent choice of well stocked products. Quick service and a clean sales counter. My visit was pleasant and I bought everything I called in for. I'm sure I'll use this store again. Overall very happy with the prices, products and service. Highly recommend for a quick shopping visit here.
Absolutely awful service. I placed an order this evening of 14 items. The driver turns up with 2 items. I opened the bag in front of him and showed him that the package definately did not contain 14 items ! He said he couldnt help and to phone Tesco Whyteleafe. I have been trying to contact them since, no answer and they are open ! so, ive paid over £40.00 for 14 items to receive 2, I pay delivery for very littel, no items to use this evening and no response from the supermarket ! Ive now contacted a bot , I assume a main contact for Tesco and according to that , someone will phone me in 2 hours or more ! If that call happens at all, I can bet it will be when the shop is closed ! All I want is my delivery as it is listed on my receipt
Terrible service, ordered 1st time via Whoosh for a delivery from this branch and without any warning they cancelled the order even though it says that it was on its way. Appreciate that you use a 3rd party delivery company but to have no notification from the store and having now to wait 3 days for a refund is very disappointing. Won’t use this store or Whoosh again after this.
Rude staff but manager seems to keep them in check. Imagine driving to them. Then being asked for ID …they saw me park outside. The manager came and said sorry I could tell even when I was in my car. I was mad. He helped.
This store used to be really good , efficient and well run ....last 4 months it must have been taken over , all but one of the original staff gone , all replaced by incompetent staff pushing past you restocking shelves whilst gibbering into their phones in their own language, if you get stuck behind someone who wants tobacco...good luck ! The guessing game begins where he points to ever single product whilst the buyer plays the left a bit up a bit game until he finally picks the right packet. Oh and if you use the self serve and happen to have beers or redbull , the over 18 marker pings up and you will wait a age for someone to turn it off . I'm so done with this store , I think I'd rather go 20 minutes out of my way closer to home to save the stress.
Good for getting quick bites & essential shopping
A rude employee accused me of shop lifting water after following me and my daughter around the store clearly suspicious from the beginning. He was then proven wrong when i showed him my receipt and touched my 15 year old daughter on the shoulder before allowing us to leave.
An excellent small store. The staff are extremely helpfull . I am more than happy to have Tesco express, Godstone Road as my nearest convenience store.
Surprisingly large store with a good selection of fresh produce. There's also a good frozen area, and an impressively stocked beer and wine fridge including lots of chilled craft beer. Self-checkout is available and there is parking around the rear. You could probably do your whole weekly shop here if you wanted.
